LMAO Cloning For Dummies

Well I usually leave the door open to the flower room when lights are on to help with heat...been closed today and with all fans going it's 78 in there with 44% rh...
 
Been testin little button buds for internal moisture every couple of days, ok bullshit every couple of hours, the hay smell is still there just slightly it comes and goes as I cycle the jars, open till dry on the outside then closed till the internal moisture wicks out then repeat the cycle. Hashy taste is still there but goin away. Smokes much better as the moisture leaves of course the taste and buzz seem to get better every day. Lookin forward now that I have done it I would say a month or longer to dry slowly should be expected. Gonna pull out some perty buds for pics for yall later its 5:30 am I aint quite in focus yet.

Had to chop this one, waaaay to early . (ideally, s/he should've had 3 more weeks, but the bananananas on her were starting to drive me NUTS. The nanners were my own dang fault (kicking myself), i stressed her too much.
Having said that.... the smell.... i'm drooling...
 
Some of my most recent strains that I have taken down or just over 5 weeks old down to three weeks my regular buds are tasty normal now no more Taste of chlorophyll but my blueberry and my Lemon Haze both smell sweet but like chlorophyll mixed with salad my big bud is completely clean and taste great but I always allow with the low and slow drying technique I like to allow 6 to 8 weeks for a perfect cure
 
As soon as I see bananas on one of my female plants that I am not reading i trash them immediately I can't take the risk of them getting pollinated on my other plants

this is one of my next plants to harvest it is very frosty and smells amazing but she's making me wait I want her to be done perfectly
 
Okay so question for anyone who would like to contribute to my success .

I have two green crack females from crop king seeds out door ? Can I clone them need step by step don't want to fuck it up? I will get some good picture and post later this afternoon so you fine folks can give me your thoughts?

You can take clones at anytime during the plants life cycle but here is a few tips that once you to be aware of if your plant is in flowering it will leave your clone in very high stress when you take the clown it makes it very hard for to root what method do you plan on using for cloning on cup of water cup of soil peat pellets hydro and so on I am off today so I can walk you through it if you need me to

Flowering (for me) takes 10-12 weeks. That's why it breaks my damn heart to chop'em early. I'm not the most patient of people, BUT i know what i get after i wait oh so very patiently & contrary to my nature.
 
10 to 12 weeks is an average flowering cycle for most plants but there are a lot of strains out there that go a lot longer I have one that flowers for 22 weeks it is a purple Thailand but if you pick plants with very short flowering Cycles this will work perfect for you there are a couple strains that I know of that finish flowering in 6 weeks to 8 weeks

I was thinking about purchasing clonex rooting gel my buddy says to stick it in the gel the branch I cut off? Lower is best since sun is weakest down low anyways right?

Does the branch need to be a certain size?

It's not in flowering it's in veg been planted directly into the dirt in back from a seed. Been there about 5-6 weeks now I'd say

Clonex works perfectly just remember take a little out use from that that you took from the container after you are done dispose of anything left over so you don't transfer bacteria back and forth to your gel just cut off the branch dip it into the gel for just a few seconds and then place it into a pellet medium soil or a hydro and you should be good to go

As for cutting the branches down on the bottom this is one of the best places to take them from due to the are struggling of lack of light and going to die off in the end anyways another way to do this is when you start doing your topping you can take the top and clone it as well this will give you a clone and allow your plants to split another thing that I like to do is take my clones when I am lollipopping a plant because it is just going to be thrown in the trash throwing it in a cup of water will root a cutting if you are going to be putting the Clones outside it is best to leave them in water for 24 hours before placing them in any kind of soil or medium to root I don't understand quite yet why this works but seems to speed the process up

I can take a clone as small as to inches and I can take a clone as big as almost a branch 12 to 18 inches is the biggest one I think I have ever done but these are more advanced clones when you get this big

In other news: mum & sister came back from thailand last weekend. Did i get any thai seeds? Nope. I got jackfruit seeds, rambutan seeds, longan seeds, mangosteen seeds... "Grow these tropical fruit trees, 100ft each, in our temperate zone city garden".
Thai stick? Nope...
 
Okay now you're going to get me started this ain't Fair when they people refer to Thai stick it is not a strain there are several different strains of Thai but actual Thai sticks are made a lot differently I can make Thai sticks the real Thai sticks on a stick like it was back when I was younger my purple Thai is a landrace strain it just carries a genetic trait that makes it turn purple if we get weather permitting or I bring it inside they take the Thai stick buds tie them to an actual stick with him string they roll the buds in oil and then dip the buds and roll them around in Keef leaving them to dry

Are these the same kind of Thai sticks you remember?

Yup. I was kinda yanking your chain (just a bit) . Lived & travelled in Asia for about 3 years, i know there's a ton of strains out there that's all lumped together under "thai stick". Nicest "thai stick" i ever had was on a beach in cambodia, in a ganja restaurant. (Their menu was INSANE, everything from curry to milkshakes to joints, all had ganja in. Imagine, if you would the unending munchies....)
Nah, i just wanted to complain a bit about sucky presents....
 
I think all kids hate their parents I didn't like mine and my kids don't like me so I understand but I don't like people LOL I have done a lot of traveling but when I lived in Miami Florida we used to get them a lot and they were always a little different but it stuck in my head because what you were saying got me thinking they act like oil sand concentrates from THC and CBD are new but that is what the Thai sticks were rolled in back then and then into Kief and into a leaf now they have one that is similar but it's completely different they call it moon rocks and then there is a new product called crystalline and it can be up to 99. 7 percent THC and they add terpenes back into it right as you get ready to smoke the things that I get to try makes this so much fun sometimes do a little research and jump back to me and let me know what you think
