Juggr, i was looking for a grow by you so i went through your thread comments. Well done! You are doing exactly what you need to be doing by watching and learning. No worries Gauge! Actually since you drew some attention to it I went and check out some of juggr's stuff as well. Looks like he has been doing a ton of research and preparation which is the best thing a person can do! Gauge is a good guy to have around juggr, he's been a ton of help and support throughout my grow. Excited to get to see where all your preparation and education lead you juggr!

Yeah that sounds like it would be quite fun! I started a Charlie Sheen bag seed I found and a Freedom Seeds Purple Express AUTO from Attitude. They both sprouted around the 20th of last month. I should have started more or should start more like soon, or now. My plan is to get Charlie Sheen and whatever other photo's I sprout in the closet area as soon as The Freak and Legz are out of there. The PEA (Purple Express Auto) I plan on using as my first colloidal silver experiment. I would like to be able to get fem auto seeds from just this one plant but it may end up taking 2 plants to get them, it just depends on whether or not I get it right lol. I'll be honest, I should be paying more attention to these little ladies. They have had some ph issues early and I also have to make sure the humidity stays up in their little house, ya know, a starter house lol.

I feel like I have so many options now and I love it! I think a group grow would be a great way to meet a lot of good folks and a great chance to learn. Not sure what exactly will be happening with my next attempt, if I would be able to flip at the same time as others or not, but I wouldn't mind participating in such a thread at all. Sounds like fun!

Flowering Day 60

Water changed with nutes for the last time I figure. Water changes are every 15 days and I don't think these ladies have that long left. If so it'll be right at the end of the 15 days I would think. Next will be a flush then harvest! So exciting! I have an idea of what to expect but I need to do more reading and research on the final processes. I think I will try to make some dry ice hash with the trim, it seems fairly easy. Anything you can do with the stalks and stems or just add them to the leaves and other stuff? Like I said, I need to do some more research so I am fully prepared. It's gonna be here before I know it!

Any thoughts on the roots? Do they look alright? Wonder if that color is from the nutes....

Today is day 61 of flower. Looks like the harvest window is just starting to open for Legz. Her pistils are just barely starting to darken and curl, maybe 5-10% of them. A few trichs are looking cloudy as well. Shouldn't be much longer for her! Maybe around the 70 day mark? I'm not sure how quickly things start to happen at this point but I am excited to find out!

Lot's of great info there for sure. However please remember the old adage "patience is the best nutrient for your plants". Time and time again i watch guys let it grow another week on advice and the buds swell and fill in a noticeable amount. I don't think i have ever read anyone that has said "damn, i wish i wouldn't have let them go this long".

Your Trichs are looking milky and thats great. Keep up the good work!

Good advice, thanks again Gauge! I have been getting antsy, like most novice growers probably do. Since I had to get a new supply yesterday, I have a feeling I was trying to talk myself into doing something dumb lol. I need to wait until at least day 70, maybe start the flush then. I'm thinking a 2 day flush.

I have been reading about partial harvests, taking only the mature parts of the plant and letting some of the other stuff keep growing. Is this normal practice for some people?

The Freak and Legz are at 109 days total. 45 days from seed to flower, 64 days in flower! Trichs are getting cloudy, no amber yet. Got a new 120x pocket microscope coming to help me with Trich Watch '17 lol. The smell is getting outrageous. I don't mind some but it is taking over. Carbon filter and fan are going to have to be purchased before the next grow. I knew they would stink (so good), but dang! LOL!

I bought my carbon scrubber on eBay, around 100$ for a 6".

Very Surprising! Who knew 2 little ol plants would put out such an odor. Makes me wonder if it some sort of a defense mechanism in nature or something.
