Reading your comments make me want those lights even more lol. Two of those Spydr2x lights would run me about 1900 and that's an investment i would like to happen. Just gotta sell the p900 lights along with other things and they are posted on CL but no bites yet. Hps lights is good to have during cold season though, that extra heat is nice lol

Plant updates:
Not much to post yet, just waiting on plain water with 1/4 TP+Tea. They still have that yellow appearance and lost some more leaves. I'm hoping once they have a couple of full strength drench, they'll start looking a lil better.

Looking good over here Limp :high-five: Good job those are some hefty girls ! love your garden!

Won’t be long now! Take us some pics with the HPS if ya can swing it.

Spydrx lights are really nice. And costly too. Another lighting to pay attention to is the new Samsung LM301H diodes just came out. They produce over 3.0umol/s and will soon overtake the LM301B diodes.

Plus the spectrums on the lights coming out in the next 6-12 months should be much better. I see more companies mixing diodes of 2700/3000/3500/4000k and even up to 5000/6250/6500k. Plus adding in CREE xPe diodes on the IR/Reds/ Deep blues and Uv. If they work as intended these products should do well on our plants.

Budget LED is a sponsor here at the mag maybe check them out. A lot cheaper than Spydrx. If $ wasn’t an issue I would likely have gotten a Spydrx by now too.

Have a great day Limp :ganjamon:

Thank you Wrenn and sure thing I'll share ceiling to floor pics soon! :thumb: Also thank you for letting me know about the new Samsung hardware and by what you described, it sounds like there will be some really good lights coming in the near future. I cannot wait! Hopefully then the spydr or competitors will become more affordable :)

room update:
Thursday morning the plants had plain water with 1/4 strength TP +tea. Plucked some more leaves and cleaned up the room. I noticed some blemish on the hps glass, most likely from brix or destress spray. Over the weekend I will clean the glass and treat the perimeter of the room once more.

Currently the climate of the room during night time is 40 - 45% RH 65 degrees. Day time it's 40% RH and 72 degrees.

I have a feeling the harvest window is somewhere and it is getting closer. I'm super excited to have some high brix cannabis soon :)
Hope you all have a great Friday! :blunt:

Afternoon Limp & Gang

Thanks for the pics! I had a typo tho

Meant to ask for pics with the HPS Off! Wanna see the colas in all their natural beauty. What day of flower are they on now ? Have ya been checking the trichomes yet ?

Hope ur enjoying the weekend brotha! Cheers :passitleft:

Good evening,

haha! a typo :) and You're welcome! any time my friend.... I aim to please the audience :blunt: i'll be back in few hours with fresh photos. Just gotta wait for lights out then i'll take a few quick photos. Im going to try get some close up shots of the trichs and i'm sure there will be some blurry photos because my hands aren't steady lol. I need to find a unique tripod stand for my phone to take still photos, and that is on my shopping list :) So i'll try my best for close ups lol

I'm not sure what day of flower exactly and i haven't checked the trichs. I did flip the plants during the last week of Aug and that puts us at what... week 7 flower at 50 days? Think BOP birds of paradise has 70 days and i think star duster might be close or little longer.

Here you go wrenn. :)

Glad to be over on your Journal I see you are doing similar techniques DBHB and quadlining which is what I plan for my upcoming grow. It will be great to follow you along I see you will be starting a new journal soon I will follow along Thanks for the invite You have an impressive set up Wow

Beautiful shots Limp! :bravo:

They are stacking up nicely. Day 50 eh. Trichomes look pretty dang clear to me still from those shots. Star duster and BoP probably run 70days in the Kit.

Hope ur thanksgiving is going swell. Keep up the great work! Cheers bud :passitleft:

Ty pc and i hope journals like this will help ya. Lots of journals to read and learn... that's how i got most of my info beside from search bar and advices from experienced growers.

Ty wren :) yes they are bulking up and starting to lean all over the place. Might have to set another layer of netting to hold the buds upright. Id hate to stake individual buds.... that's gonna be a nightmare lol yeah im thinking 70 days range too. Enough time for several good drenches after the cats. :)

Update: all seedlings are up with the race ! 6 out of 6. Better turn out than last run (lost two seeds). Now i hope its a 100% female rate :)

Have a great Monday :)

hey @Duggan Good morning,

My plants are due for their drench. I didn't realize that i am late on their drink and one of them is wilting.... oops.... i didn't mean to let them go dry

I remember reading somewhere doc recommended a few years ago for some people to do super drench after doing two cats and water. I was wondering if i should be doing a super drench (8oz Trans and 10 ml tea per 5 gal ) or do normal drench at 15 ml per gal? Not sure if any thing changed about super drench after cat.

Second question, the drench after two cat + water is supposed to be growth or tp? User guide shows growth and for some reason i thought it was supposed to be regular 15ml per gal transplant w/tea or a super drench, not growth?

I'll check back here before lights comes on.

Thank you Duggan, I hope you have a great day

Happy hump day!

Thank you drift! :slide:

Today a new batch of soil promix , worm casing, and 1st run amendments was mixed in a big tarp. Two 55 gal totes were filled to the brim and watered. I have to go back shoppin for couple more totes to store the rest of the soil :blunt:.
