I didn't like the pics I took this evening so I'll try again tomorrow, sorry. I believe I just counted 26 separate growth tips for colas I'd say at least ten of those should be of decent size and there are some shorter, thinner shoots that are lower in the canopy that I'll have to wait and see where they wind up after the growth spurt. She's already put on about three inches since I flipped the lights just six days ago...from 9" to 12" at her highest point. Hard to believe she's already as tall as my last plant but as big around as a 55g drum or damn near anyway...20"+ across I think.

I think I'm going to put my early estimate at 2.5-3oz leaning (hoping? lol) towards the high side. This is based off the 1/4oz main cola I had on my first grow and comparing that to the shoots in their current state.

Having mild temperature issues with the warm spring weather we've been having...it was almost 70F today, tomorrow will be maybe 30 and up to a foot of snow That should bring the temps down indoors for a couple days and give me time to make some changes. They've been pushing 86F at night with everything closed up but the stretch is starting to kick in...pics soon, I promise! Been preoccupied with more pressing matters.

Wow, it was very white out today to say the least, glad I didn't have to really go anywhere in it...we had blizzard conditions here for a little while, near complete whiteout. On the plus side everything will be pretty tomorrow and the outdoor temps are down again!

And as I've been promising for too long...but the growth should be quite noticeable by now haha! She is now 12" (OK, 11 3/4" when viewed directly from the side lol) tall at the highest leaf and 20" wide from leaf tip to leaf tip...and my cabinet is only 24" wide, may have to redo those lights I have wrapping down and around on my chandelier. Having trouble getting the top lights close enough to the canopy without putting the four "side" lights in to the foliage on the edges

How many tips do you count?

Yeah...that's a 2L soda bottle, again

Not bad without the 1600 X 1200 resolution pic...I counted 21 in it BUT there are still some tips that you can't see in that pic still trying to fully break out of the foliage. My last "in the bush"/hands-on count was at 26, maybe a few more if I count the really small ones

LIL N. ya got some pretty massive plant there mi amigo! You need to wait til it's TIMBER 420 DAY and count them down then..

It sure must feel great to drop a big fat 2L on em and just think how FREAKING amazing that is....

I must admit that I compared one of my plants to yours for shits and giggles and YOU WIN, lol you have a very pretty and healthy girl

Thanks sisco, but I had the "advantage" of only needing to watch one plant! She did take very well to the LST and I think that big clone is a survivor...seems to be turning greener every day and has new growth forming at the top. Tossed another clone today, the one that was mottled at the top of the previous page...much worse now. The other small one's leaves are so light yellow they're almost white, tiny bit of green at the very center but doesn't seem to be enlarging Have two more that are a week behind or so...not sure on them yet, yellowing a little bit but nothing abnormal.

I didn't fully catch what you said earlier OMM...that is a view of the top of the plant, I laid her on her side at an angle and took that pic!

Thanks You can go back and check around the middle part of this journal but I believe I started LST'ing mine during week four. It appears you started your LST near the beginning of week five.I wouldn't say that's too late as long as you let it veg for a couple weeks longer. This will allow the growth hormone (aka auxins) to redistribute amongst the NEW top of the plant and induce all those extra shoots to grow out. Just wait until it's had about a week and those leaves and branches that were on the underside of the main stem twist around and begin growing upwards...plants rule!

And do you know how many days old that plant is?

Glad you enjoyed counting, I need to check out your new journal when I get a chance (got some mechanic work to do on my car...been out of commission for five days now)...I like being able to give people a reason to post every now and then even if they didn't have one when they clicked on the journal Group participation can be fun...or it can really suck depending what it is lol.

Gf has another migraine today, I was a bit mean to her when she woke up and said she had one this morning (I barely had three hours of sleep at the time, not a nice person when I don't get my sleep ) so I apologized after I had slept a bit more and was less cranky. It's not her fault, she can't control when she gets them, but it sure messes my day up too (not as much as hers though) and they usually occur on days when I want/need to do noisy things. Not sure what the trigger was for this one but I felt like a butthole, poor girl She told me she had to smoke two bowls this morning to get the nausea and pain to subside any and that's with this super narcotic-like indica blend we have right now! *sigh*

I really feel for your lady. I've been around people with same problem and they go through real agony. I understand your frustration too.

G'dy mate, I used to suffer with terrible migraines and was cured with accupuncture. The little Chinese fella said I'd get the mother of all migraines the next day then no more. That was when I was 15or16. I could count the number of migraines i've had since, on one hand. All that ancient stuff works man.

That's great to hear, she is actually quite interested in trying acupuncture but her insurance only covers one visit a month and we can't even afford to pay all of our bills as it is now. But like I told her this morning (still there, day 2) about seeing a neurologist, you can't afford to go but you really can't afford NOT to go. My mother has been seeing an acupuncturist lately too and she says it's great too. I'll let my gf know about your experience, might give her some hope but I realize everyone's mileage can vary. Thanks!
