Lady Cannafan's Seedsman Comparative Grow Banana Jealousy ViparSpectra KS5000

You ain’t kiddin there sister… these girls threw some curve balls but, it wasn’t without reward. Mine look like they got frostbite and every time I try to get a close look at the trics , I end up with a sticky face..
And yeah, nice bush!:headbanger:
Yep, sticky face...hair....hands...clothes. Trucking these around to get some outdoor pics was not fun in the least. I got tired of the black background.....should have stuck with that, it was easier on me. :laughtwo:

That's the one I'm already subscribed to. I must be thinking of a different person, different grow, where the plants didn't make it. I'll head over and catch up. :)
Yes ma'am. Anyways a lot of issues happened with those beautiful plants. As in our AC went out 105 in the house for over 5 days plus the electric went out for a deuce... 😒

Bought little tent it was a 30 inch by 18 inch by 36 in hell by the time I got everything in it I see right now even if I scrog it's not going to amount to shit. So I pop three more seeds and I'll just put the 4x4 back up.. I will finish out this journal.

Ahhhh...now I remember.
That no A/C was a killer, and then have the power out...UGH
I just got power back last night from 2 days of outage, thank the Cannabis Gods it was not last week during all that upper 90's outside heat. My plants would have suffered a beating for sure.

Glad you're back up and running with some more!

Frannie is trimmed and chopped. She is hanging dry as of this morning.
I think she will do much better than her twin sister Annie, her buds are heavier and denser. I got quite a large amount of sugar leaf and small buds trim drying from her. That should make some bodacious Canna Butter or Rosin.

I have one more of the Banana girls to go, Lois. Not too much excitement for Lois, she's a bit sparse. We'll see on the final weight.
I'm trying hard to get these chopped and drying before they go too far on maturing.

Beautiful :yummy:

I will make a couple of points on this grow. I had 9 plants in there with 3 of them in 5 gallon pots, the rest in 3 gallon. Too many plants at once.

Point 1: Despite having so much room and running two 4x4 lights, it was clear that the light penetration was limited due to the crowded conditions with all of those plants. Even trying to rotate didn't seem to help too much. I can see a direct line where the lighting was effective and where it lacked.
I will not grow that many plants all at once again. There needs to be space between those plants for maximum light coverage.

Point 2:
Bigger pots....bigger better yield! All of the Banana Jealousy girls were in 3 gallon fabric pots. The three RQS were in 5 gallon fabric pots. The difference in size and packed buds, without a doubt, made the 5 gallon pots the winner. I will not go back to 3 gallon for that reason, and the fact that watering/feeding was much less frequent and cumbersome with the larger pots.

Will I grow the Seedsman again? Oh hell yes! Next time, less plants...more fruit from more areas. :green_heart:
