NL #2 (front R) continues to be talller than NL #1)
Blue Dream CBD (back R) has the beefiest stalk and is the heaviest feeder
Candida seems to have lost her delicateness in the flower stage. She really likes her 12 hours of nightly sleep :;):

Hey L.A. You're girls are so pretty! After defoliating my veg plants between week 3-4, they bushed out like crazy making it hard to try any LST stuff. I'll put up a pic. I was planning on flipping them next week (waiting for exhaust for flower tent) when last night someone broke into my studio down the back of my yard and ripped up the biggest plants!!? Completely worthless for them but a month of time, energy and nurturing on my behalf. So devastated.
So I'll beef up security but put all the remaining plants with the few already in the bud tent in my main house.
Anyway, this is what they looked like Post-defoliation...

And they bushed out like crazy after defoliation no.2! Unfortunately, no pics. So pissed off but trying to look at the silver lining....e.g. They only stole the 300W LED and not the 2 x 600W LED's or my 2 x 600W HPS lights! Or my expensive AN nutes or additives!

Thank goodness they only took the one 300 light and not the rest of your nice equipment. But that has to be so frustrating to lose your plants that you put the time into. They looked lovely! Do you have any seeds left that you can start again right away?

Well actually, coincidentally yesterday I received 5 x 47 xtrm feminized seeds in the post that I ordered from 420 over 3 months ago (along with 12 other purchases from various sites) but the 1st order never arrived, so they re-shipped about 5 weeks ago. But having been overdue again, they were about to refund me for the 4 separate orders. So although it was a pleasant surprise - I'm sure I never only ordered 5 seeds! Always 10 min. But I'm not gonna complain! And at least I've got some. And fortunately, the plants that weren't stolen are 10 x BigBud xxl fem only 2 weeks old and looking great. So perhaps enough for the flower tent and I'll get some veg going as soon as I flip the BigBud. You've got a perpetual thingy happening, yeah? You're kicking ass girl! And your 1st indoor grow?? It's amazing. Kudos to you L.A,!

Hahaha..yes I'm thinking along those lines. I'm super-gluing strips of framers razor blades lining inside all the windows and other points of entries. I'm loving the Bear-traps idea though!! Thanks. I'm definitely not gonna let it happen again. Pity I can't claim the loss on my household insurance!

What light are you using for flowering? I'm very interested in a SolarSystem 550 that comes with a remote controller and you can set the spectrum manually - e.g. The 'red flash' that mimics sunset for the end of the light period which puts the plants to sleep instantly - as opposed to the plants taking over 2 hours to get to sleep. They sound awesome. But they're $1,400 and $400 for the controller. I'm thinking after a successful grow or 2, I might get one. Any lights you like the look/sound of? I'm also liking (in the way of systems) the look of aeroponics. You?

I had a DIY 'flower initiator' recommended to me recently. It's basically a very small far-red LED light that you add to your existing set-up to simulate sunset. Don't know if this is of interest?

My lights are viparspectra 600w. My 4x4 tent has been running on one 600w until today, when I added a second one. So there are now two 600w lights chained together. The lights that simulate sunrise and sunset seem like a great idea - probably would be more natural for the plants. I just couldn't justify the cost being a completely new grower.

Pennywise has an incredible grow going on that has made me rethink the aeroponics issue. Initially, I discounted it thinking too many things to go wrong with clogged nozzles, pumps, heat, etc. Aeroponics is kicking ass and taking names around the forum, so I'm seriously considering it.

I would look at bigger buckets for the Aero/DWC setups, the root balls get massive.

Thanks, Dobewan. Well, don't get too jealous yet; I've run into a little problem. Hoping I can get the girls back on track.

The last few days I've noticed some deformed new growth. I was hoping it would straighten out, but it is getting worse. After looking at tons of pics on the internet trying to pin down the issue, I'm more confused.

Overwatering? ...... I'm growing in coco and only watering 3 times a day. Thought is was pretty hard to overwater coco.

Light burn? ......... Didn't have enough light until today and it was cool at the canopy at a distance of 18". So I'm doubting it is that.

Nute burn? ........ Possible- My EC has been around 1.3 and 600 ppm. Candida RO numbers this morning 1.6 EC 833 PPM (which is the one plant not showing the same signs) My other girls are coming in with a RO around 2 EC 1000 PPM

Bugs .......... Oh, please say it isn't so!

Check under the leaves for anything moving or out of the ordinary. Looks like broad mites from here.

That's what I was afraid of. I've looked but I couldn't see anything with the magnifying glass. Let me try again with the magnification app on my phone and I'll report back.
