Be prepared for your first harvest. I was a bit sad and elated at the same time. I grew so attached. These wonderful plants have so much to give. It's emotional for sure. Maybe it's just me being a big old plant freak. A bit maudlin...damn this plant fetish of mine! :)

Panic set it last night when I went to check the tent and the light was out. Then, I remembered it was now on 12/12 and had shut off for the night. I can't even begin to tell you how disappointed I was that I couldn't open the tent and see them before bed! I was chomping at the bit this morning for the light to come on.

Congrats on the flip! It's pretty awful to go back to not having what you need - luckily that's not the case much longer for you. Can't wait to hear your experience with the Candida - I fully expect to grow it myself soon.

Candida is the one I am most interested to try. It is a little more finicky than the other strains in my tent though. But she is loving the flip and the pre flower nutes. She was quite perky this morning!

It's a great morning ritual. Everyone talks about exercise and meditation as a great start to the day. I would add spending time with our plants to that list; it is like meditation to me.

Can't believe how much they grew overnight! Must be two inches. :) The girls like the bright light and flower nutes.....Hmmm, must be spring break for them.


Edited to add: I removed the humidifier to give them plenty of room to stretch out, since I think they might need it.

Do you all think my girls need more light? Tonight, I noticed all four are slightly leaning to the center of the tent where the light is hanging. Their currently getting 600w LED. The light I'm using has a daisy chain connector, so it would be easy to add on.

By that calculation, I should have 800w. So, I'm down by 200. I was trying to get by with one light for the first grow and have money for the vaporizer, which we were able to get. Yay! But if I'm down by a minimum calculation, then I might have to add a light if this is going to affect my yield.

Another light has been ordered and will be here Friday! Hope no one raids my house based on Amazon orders - it might look like I have a serious operation going on. :laughtwo:

As long as heat isn't an issue and budget....I'd add some more
I have a 600w HPS in my 4x4 flower tent and it is great but I think HPS gets a bit better spread than LED
So adding another can't hurt for sure

This is today , pretty even canopy with the tallest actually at the edges

Well, budget is always a consideration given that this hobby can easily takeover. LOL!

Lady A, would u just add a 200 or 300w light....would it fit ok

Never used LED so I'm not sure how they really project light

I don't think LED projects light as well as HPS, but I prefer that they are cooler.
