For those asking about HPS temps: here's what I have so far from a 600W cooltube with an HPS bulb, high of 84 at 41 inches away from center of bulb and a high of 90 at 8 inches away. I'm measuring from 16 inches away today - let me know if you'd like to see any other specific distances.

Ready for this? at 16in away the high is 82 deg so it looks like that's a sweet spot in my setup for air flow since it's even cooler than at 41 inches away.

Flower Day 37

All plants were watered with a nutrient solution consisting of 4 millilitres per gallon of Flora Gro, 5 millilitres per gallon of Flora Micro, 10 millilitres per gallon of Flora Bloom, 3 millilitres per gallon of Liquid KoolBloom and 5 millilitres per gallon of calcium and magnesium.

I have been told that the original name of the strain is Alaskan Thunder and not Alaskan Thunderfuck.

Ok The original name was M bay thunder fk. I cant spell the name. I had a friend that lived in Alaska and sent me some.
1980 I think, but that stuff is strong. I almost stopped smoking weed on account of that stuff lol.

I won't deny the fact that temps go up and down but bankrupting coal companies without an effectual replacement leads me to believe there are a large conglomerate of people making gigantic sums of money circulating unproven/manipulated facts. Had I not read your comment LEDs were going to be my next major purchase but I think now, I will continue to light my garden with HPS.

There are lots of unscrupulous people in the LED industry, don't let that deter you though. There are good cheap lights out there, just don't buy into the bs used by US companies.
To supplement the heat loss, a simple greenhouse heater can add the heat for you in the winter months.

The ignorance of some people astounds me. Going to be brief as KJC's thread, but ignorance like this can not be ignored.

1. Coal companies are not being bankrupt, they are actually doing very well with their profits the last 5-10 years.
2. Human caused climate change is a much a scientific fact as something like say, evolution.

If anyone would like to show their ignorance to these two facts, then bring it to my thread and show me your denier bs there and I will refute it with actual science.

Buds are coming along well KJC! Good job for first grow under LED, what is normal finishing times for these strains?

On a side note- Im no LED expert by any means, but I do think those lovely pinkish tones make for pretty pictures!
