@trichomes, You can get some of that info from their website, but not a lot on specs. Lush seems to hide that more then most other LED makers I have talked to. They will not let you know wavelengths of diodes and ratios, and IMO that is the key.
As for pricing if you look on their website you will see...
Dominator 2x XL (300 X 3w) $2,019 per unit
Dominator 2x (one is this thread, 200 x 3w) -$1,399 per
And here is where I get confused they have a ...
Dominator (200 x 3w) that is also $1,399, but the lumen output they state is LESS THEN HALF of the Dominator 2X, which begs a bunch of questions...
1. how is the lumens more then twice as much on the 2X when it same number of same wattage diodes( and same power draw according to their site)?
2. why is the price the same if the 2X is more then twice the output of the regular one?
3. Anyone who knows the science knows the key is PAR value not just lumen output, I could make all the lumens I want, but if, for example, this was all in green wavelengths, the plants could never use the light.
I really wish a Lush rep could answer these (and other questions), till then I would never consider them as a LED light source, particularly at that price point.
That being said, if they could prove to me that they are that much different and get that much better results then other, less expensive more open manufacturers I would consider them. That begs another question...
Do they manufacture their own lights, if so where is factory?
Call me a skeptic, cause I am.
