Today looking a tad overwatered. more leaf growth than stem. The tops should start to develop in the next week.

I have a blue sticky trap up for 2 days and not even one is on it. I think they are small in numbers.
I hope the tops start to push up through the leaves, super strong leaf growth on this one.

So I had to replace the clip on fan in the tent this past week. The old lasko 6 inch fan died and a quick walk to the hydro store and a sale 40% off a durabreeze 6 inch clip on fan. (it is nice to be able to walk to a hydro store like 4/10ths of a mile. I wish they would push more organic soil stuff, ah well)
Review:
The good is the dura breeze is smaller front to back but its clip is not as good. So it takes less space but I cannot move it in all directions that I might want cause the clip will slip. But I saved the better clip from the old lasko, so all is well, they swap out easy if needed... Fan was cheap with the discount but I cannot say I am happy with it, the clip is the key component to having a clip on fan.
I hope the drop in humidity has helped the grow, I get home after lights out tomorrow. So I plan update on Wednesday.

Nothing yet, But i can see the growth beginning in between the main stem and branch, i spy.
moving the tops apart trying to help it along.

It has been topped and flipped to 11/13 for flower.

I hung the Far red puck in a temporary position. I am not sure where it will finally go and I am manually timing ( pluggin it in and out for 15 min) it this week at the end off lights on.

Maybe a little damaged but i think is got it
Maybe it has even grabbed some pollen on that brown tip but I see white pistol, or as I call 'pistolina'
So the male has its days numbered, I may try to capture a small amount of pollen but just for this grow. This will be a straight IBL of triple purple rhino. If they are in fact both TPR. I only need to wait till the girl is mature enough to produce viable seed 2-4 weeks after pre flower if I recall. No biggie. I dont mind cleaning seeded bud, just like the ol'daze.
So things are moving in the right direction just gotts to hope missus doesn't smoke thru the stash before I can harvest.

The pistol was probably damaged when I was bending the tops back, it is getting tall for me at almost 8 inch from soil top, yikes I know. I am silly.
Here is my re veg of the orient express back cross of auto CBGxOE (the sativa like pheno expression) should give a couple of buds at some point. fun experiment, OH yeah it will be seeded too, oh well. I will grow sens buds again some day ; - )

Little look into the tent, training and the open pollination. Well, gonna try to catch some pollen along the way. Blue cup is my pollen helper. I may try to keep some in the refrig. I dunno wha fer? It has been a strechy male which scares me but may be cross it with one of my dwarfs later.
Or not, I got plenty seeds.
So now these will be Triple Purple Rhino regs if I dont do something stupid.
Here is my initial training adjustment. I see 6 tops. Which is my goal. I am so happy about that 6 tops is my manageable target. 4 is ok but 6 should help keep the height in check as I pull down any leaders and let the lower catch up.
Have a look.
ok so. the 2 tops on the right are the lowest on the main stem, the next up moving left is being pulled down so its opposite branch can come around the stem and catch up, which is the next top moving left. then the 2 top tops. I had its opposite pulled down last night, so now it is its turn, I just got to get it into position and I leave for a week, Then see what has happened. I see the stretch, it is strong but pliable, even the main stem is pliable at this point.
The leaves on soil top are pruned from the neighboring male plant TPR. And not a sight of thrips. the blue sticky trap has nothing on it.
Here is what I did to the male today, catch a little pollen. There is 2 branches in the cup.

So for my wife's birthday and Jerry Garcia's birthday, we decided to go out for a meal and see 2 Grateful Dead/Jerry Garcia band cover bands, one a national touring band with local ties and the other a local band as an opening act, both of which we have see before.
In any event this is about the Meal. We go to a Japanese restaurant, a higher end place with a very small menu. Kind of a treat we do about 2 to 3 times a year. I get a miso salmon and the wife gets skewers of chicken and steak. we also share a app of broccoli and a seafood sunomono.
So stay with me. On one of the plates next to some dry spice i see a seed. Now I know a Canna seed. So i am like what the what. And So i grabz it. remember canna is 'legal' but not 'commercial' where I live.
Lets me show you what I found.!.
What ya think? I dont see tiger strips, but it sure looks familiar.
could it be straight hemp, is my first thought. Not that it matters just a magical appearance on a wonderful night.
In any event...
The food was wonderful and the bands where great, the main act did a recreation of a 1991 Jerry Garcia band show, Grate fun was had.

So I flipped 11/13 a couple of days ago (5 i think) and 3 days ago I started my far red puck to help quicken flowering by putting the plants to sleep quicker. it is the far red puck rapid + growmous5 led collaboration if that makes sense. got it on sale like 20 buck before shipping and all.
I have it on a timer for an hour at the end of lights on. I timed it today and it stays on for about ten minutes after lights off. here it is with just the red light on.

I have to re-read some breeding techniques, I want to chooop the male soon. I am open pollinating. I need to get a handle on it all soon.
