At this point I plan to bottom water. I place the fabric pot down in its tray which is about 2-3 inches deep and I drench the bottom of the container. Let it sit over night or through one lights on cycle, then I place it on rollers to let it drain and breath out through the fabric. Once I do my first top dress I will begin watering from the top. But I forget my BluMat waters from the top all the time I let it drip about 1 liter a week at this point. (7 gallon soil container with about ~5 gallon of soil)

Fingers crossed on the flavored oil. They claim to use terps from the plants for a "real" taste. Hope they're right! We have summer holiday coming up and I'm counting on the CBD will help incase I can't find any herb on our trip. 10 days without meds when you should be enjoying yourself is always a little hard for me.

I'll have to look into the recharge a little more. This is my first "season" running LOS after doing a couple runs with BioBizz nutes. Still some kinks I need to work out. Sometimes if feels as if its going so easy that maybe I'm forgetting something.
I will be tearing this grow down in about 4 weeks and will start all over new come September. This will give me a chance to see if the fresh cooked soil is a better deterrent to the gnats. I think your choice of watering from below is another good tip as well. To be honest I had been watering that way until the girls just got to big for me to be moving around all the time. And now to think about it, this little infestation didn't get really bad until I had to start watering from above. Even ordered new fabric pots since I noticed them coming in and out of the sides. Think I'll also pick up some nematodes for next grow too.

TPR is looking good! I'm always a fan of the shorter stalky ones. I think with you keeping that male in their your female will perk of quite nicely. I see Bo sometimes keeps a dude around and he says the females just love it.

Hey also if you could throw a few of those seeds on a homing pigeon and send em' my way that'd be great!

I am lucky to have a source in the sunshine where my wife and I travel to frequently but at 100 usd a quarter it is expensive. She will not drive with it in the car and the source is her friend from 35 years ago so it works but is not my favorite thing. ( i think it was a quarter maybe a half, I dunno I stay out of it)

Got me thinking, If, If I made my own oil, "the potion" from canada looks to be very nice. I have not seen other but I am sure they are around, 'Natural Terpenes'. I think you mix CBD oil and some thing like "the potion" to make a blend. I dunno just thinking out-loud.

I Think i need to tear down the grow and start fresh with new soil and pots and things. It is not easy when you are trying to maintain production into the future. But it is probably good from time to time. I have been looking at nematodes and beneficials as well. I might go with an earth box SIP and LOS. Just not sure it will fit.

My plan is to flip to 11/13 soon, next week or 2 most.
This week the water will contain a capful of lacto water to one liter of RO water. (1-20 is the mix recommendation for lacto-bacillus serum?)
and a drop of molasses, a literal tiny drop from the end of a chopstick.

well I have good news personally, I got a job interview offer. Let the stress begin. I like my current job. I am a big fish in a small pool. I would be moving to a much larger pool of much bigger fish. I dunno. So I may drop off the mag for the next month. But no worries I will be here. just quieter.

Last year for holiday I used EJ Mix, mixed it with some oil I made and it blended up very nicely.Some reviews people complained of the taste, I didn't taste anything but the BHO. Kinda makes a mess out of your vape but got the job done. My plan for this summer is to find some good hash. We booked a small surfer hostel in Portugal with hopes of lazy days on the beach and spliffs of Moroccan hash. I'll let you know how it works out.
I'm guessing Shiggity and his SIP has your gears turning? Can't blame ya! Over on the Ytube is a guy named HerbinFarmer, he grows in a 100g LOS with SIP flowering some really nice Ocean Grown Seeds. Wish I had room for a set up like that.

Plus side is everything gets a good cleaning and tune up. Have some awesome gear to start next run and couldn't be more excited. Also time for me to do a journal again, miss having a place to put up pictures of the ladies.

I'm glad you're thinking of doing another journal. It's disconcerting not having that home address to post all the lovely pictures, isn't it? When you get around to starting let me know. I'd like to follow along. :hugs:

Is there any possibility of packing some capsules into the checked baggage? Maybe in the bottom of a bag of cookies or the pocket of a pair of jeans? I managed to do this when I went to Jamaica. Turned out I didn't need them after all, since we had some excellent flowers from Doc's grow, but it made all the difference knowing I had them on hand if needed.

So those things have totally come to mind, but I guess I'm just a little nervous. I bet the capsules would be best. I'm gonna sleep on that for sure.
I always try to be a glass half full kind of guy, and well even if the worst happens and I find no herb I'll just use the opportunity as a tolerance break. Its not easy but I do like the results once I start back up on my meds again.

Just wanted to stop by and share with you my first harvest with the far red during flower. Amnesia Haze Auto by RQS chopped her down on Sunday which was 63 days from seed. 200g wet so hoping for about 40g dry. Not bad for 2 months. Breeders notes day 10-12 weeks from seed, no way she was gonna go that long. This is also the first auto I've seen change these nice autumn colors, wonder if the red helps in that.

Looks like the red light made harvest sooner for the Auto. That is pretty cool, even if only a week or couple of days early. As I challenge myself with new seeds I plan on running 11/13 lights and the far red puck on my Photo period breeds. I dont care If My plants flower for long periods If I have stash in the jar but when stash runs low a week less in flower could help alot.

I am supposed to get home tomorrow. I have some things that need deciding in the tent. First is no descision I have about 2 cups of top dress to water in. It is EWC and BAS soil re-amendment mixed by myself, In a plastic bag and growing white fungus or molds stuffs smell very nice earthy and sweet with a touch of fish. Then...

Sprout is 2 weeks today. Do I top it? depends on the strech and node distance. Do I flip it? Not if i top it. I will give it a week after topping before flip. This plant is still not sexed yet. That will be under close examination.

Time for a walk in the sun :ciao:

I totally agree, 1 week less isn't a huge deal but if your stash is getting low a week can feel like eternity! If this red works like it says I'll be curious to see how they will be on an 11-13 or more like a 11-15. Had to do some soil chores around here too. Trying bio-char for the first time in my soil. Mixed up a compost tea yesterday thats been brewing over night and today I will mix that with the char for a good 24 hour soak. Then mix up this new batch and let it sit for the next month.

Do you top most of your girls? If you don't, you think they'll get too tall for your space? It's something I see mixed results with but also I don't run to many photo plants so that could be the reason.

OH! Looks like you found the good stuff while out on your walk. Maybe some CCO capsules in your future? Or possibly a QWISO to make some oil for your vape pen :hmmmm:

Freaky Foto Day.

just a couple of quick looks at the new Triple Purp Rhino. 16 Days old-ish. We gave 2 liters plain water bubbled overnight, I added a small pinch of alfalfa meal for the last hour, I was gonna put a chamomile tea bag in it but forgot. Just before watering I put a 1.5 inch filet of Aloe gel in the water then took about 1 hour to water in. I use my one liter plastic bottle with holes drilled into the top, so I comes out slowly. Then recycle the bottle and save the top for next time.

Not too much growth not as stretchy as the brother TPR.

I like that one too keltic, but the one you should enter is the first one in the display. It more clearly shows the lights above. It's the stunner by a long shot. You should send a copy of that one to Dan. He'd love it. Lol!

wife just fired up a 2 month cure of my auto cbg x orient express, holy smoke I am almost high from the smell, cannot place what it is. wish I had more of that In cure. that smoke is nice......

I do not think it is growing as fast as the male did. I am taking that as a good sign. I have been playing with the male the stems are very pliable and great candidates for croping, I still may top next week, but flip is close by.


I saw that ACE seeds posted some testing of their strain terps. profiles and such.
I found the PCKxKC interesting, even if only for information.
The Purple PCK 2002 x Kali China F3 (more sativa of KaliChina) (I think I have the later version with the more hash plant green phenos of KC.)
Anywho The earlier version of the PCKxKC. The terpene profile of the sample shows a super high content of humelene sesquiterpene. And only traces of the other detectable terps. Supposed to smell earthy, woody, like hops. I will agree with that.

In any event ACE is including more of this info with the strain descriptions in the future. Cheers, I hope to have some Zamaldelika on the way to me.

Tiny update time for the Triple Purple Rhino. No sign of pre-flowers. It got topped. And the container got dressed with my mix of EWC and coots re-amendment. I spoon it on the top of the soil then watered in almost a gallon of water today, bubbled for 36 hours with local soil inoculate, a cap-ful of my local seaweed mix concentrate and a chamomile tea bag. I am thinking of starting lighting 11/13 on Sunday or Wednesday. The male should produce some viable pollen in 2-4 weeks then big brother is a goner...Then flower for the hopeful little sister, please.

I think this is the top ready to be gone. I plan on another 6 tops plant. I have two other branches saved down lower for pollen, but I will have seeds everywhere man, i am sure. Triple Purple Rhino reg seeds I hope Missus likes it.

OK in the bottom of this Piccy, do ya see the insect? I did also find a thrip. I gave a neem oil water/soap spray at lights off. And the toping mix I use has neem cake in it. I am considering beneficial nematodes. But the size they sell are so big I would never need that much. I have every confidence that my IPM will keep them at bay with the spray and top dress.

Here is one half of big brother, strechy thing. very little thrip damage on it, on either, but if ya know what to look for it is there. Little yellow spots and silver sheens and maybe some black poop spots.
