Figure I would do a photo bomb since I am feeling better about the garden.

Oh and I have a sprout, all I needed was to soak longer, humph, lesson learnered.

So here is the two seeds that didn't sprout. Triple purple rhino.

It looks like the goods here is the male I got going. I have topped and chopped it back trained it over and all around still doing its thing.
The leaves are being frozen and going into my cat's coconut infusion oil. crap ton of leaves so far and pretty smelly, smells like skunk weed.

It got soaked for 36 hours, till i saw it crack. sorry no picture of the crack. I dropped it soil on sunday morn.

Looks like it might have sprouted last night or this morning.

I enjoyed it. Planted my own seed this morning. This one I left in the water until I saw it crack. I'd never waited for that before. You guys inspired me. Lol!

Far out Sue! that is grate news waiting for the crack to show. My new go to, Thankx Rad!

I might be dropping another of something here I dunno yet. I want to concentrate on the sprout I got. If it is fem. I want to bring some pollen out of its brother, get me a mess of reg seeds. But a true Triple purple rhino, not a cross. Then I will have a inbred bunch.

Inbred Triple Purple Rhino seeds would be great :high-five: I have some UltraDawg and Dark Devil Auto seeds I wanted to sprout, but I don't know that I have enough soil and space, so I gave them to a friend to sprout with a promise of a clone and a bud respectively.

Ketlic, Have you mounted up your far red?
I've noticed my Amnesia Haze really bulk up since I added it to my tent. I'm interested to see next grow, when I can start the red right at flower not 3 weeks in.

Also sorry if this has been asked before I just can't remember, did you mount your driver outside your tent? I feel like at one time you were thinking about it. If so how much did it drop the temps?
I've been giving it some serious thought lately because my tent is getting just too hot. No A/C here so any little bit helps when it comes to keeping the girls cool.

I did absolutely mount it outside the tent. I dont have any comparison data. But the in tent and out tent temperature is usually around 2 to 3 degrees F warmer in the tent, at most. right now it is 77 degrees F in my window and 78.6 in the tent. It also gives me access to the dimmer pot without opening the tent. And it gets pretty warm now that I have it where I can touch it outside the tent.

Here is a leaf from the TPR boy I have been trimming, caught my eye. It is a very vigorous grower.

Oh boy,that dude is making some nice leaves! Those 2 weeks are gonna go quick and you'll have some flowers under that new far red before you know it.

You ever run into any fungus gnat problems with your LOS?
I've been controlling them with Monterey Garden spray either by soaking the soil and killing the larvae and also spraying the adults and thats working I would just rather not have them at all. I will say that when my soil was fresh I didn't have issues so maybe thats because the neem meal was stronger? I'm not sure. Just wondering what a guy like you does? I see the rice hulls on top and I'm guessing with your watering system the top stays moist which I know those little buggers love.

Also I ordered up some Super Lemon Haze CBD oil yesterday, excited to see if it tastes like the real thing. First time I've ordered anything but just the plain " hemp" flavored so hope its not to crazy.

I am so glad you posted I need to do my weekly update.

So I have had the flavored oil and mixed reviews. The tangerine Haze was a bit to chemical tasting. The bubble gum was/is nice. I have the natural flavor next. I tried cheap natural flavor "down south" last month and is was OK but cheap oil and overall not very good. The pure spectrum oil is better than the cheap stuff I got at the vape store. taste better and makes better clouds.

So fungus gnats, yes I do. But I never see more than one or two at a time. My BAS soil has the neem meal So my guess Is that keeps them away. I think my top dries out very quick. That s why I have so much crap on top of the soil, including paper strips on the outer edge of the soil and homemade mulch whenever I get leaves from my companion plants.

I also top dress with the BAS re amendement kit mix, It has neem cake in it. I have been waiting for the gnats to get going this summer, humidity is 70%. I have a de humidifier on the the way. At this point I plan to bottom water. I place the fabric pot down in its tray which is about 2-3 inches deep and I drench the bottom of the container. Let it sit over night or through one lights on cycle, then I place it on rollers to let it drain and breath out through the fabric. Once I do my first top dress I will begin watering from the top. But I forget my BluMat waters from the top all the time I let it drip about 1 liter a week at this point. (7 gallon soil container with about ~5 gallon of soil)

Trying to compare the last TPR sprout with the new one. I have the feeling this one is not stretching as much as the first. But looking at comparison photo I am not sure.

I am keeping the Male next to it. trimming and topping going to try to get some pollen saks. I dunno I have a ton of reg seeds. But I would like some different stock and TPR is such a hybrid of different strains it would do well to keep me into the future.

PCK x Kali China Yunnan regular seed. I did some sorting of seed this morning. This is from one of the self seeded colas. I am just plucking the seeds as I take it out of the jar before my wife smokes it. I took a bunch of photos.

These are the self-ed from the PCK x Kali China Yunnan which was a Fem seed. So these will likely be fems but may throw a pollen sack? maybe a hermie trait, I dunno? so I call them regular seed. But the pollen was from it self. I plan to run these next spring.

How long do you dry them in the cardboard box keltic? Lovely seed pictures, by the way. That top shot is a good candidate for the gallery contest. :battingeyelashes:

Just this morning, I entered one but not that one, too funny. I could not choose. I dunno if they want seed fotos but use them if they have use for them is what I think, rock on.
I dry them about 4-6 weeks, probably overkill. I wrap them in paper which I label then into a small box with a cotton ball in it as well...
Then into little glass vials with a pinch of cotton on top and into the fridge for long term storage.

Here is a crop I entered this morning.

Thanks Miss Sweet. I should say I 'fold' them in paper pockets or pouchs while they dry. Just to keep them together. I just want to dry and remove any outer organic material on the outer shell before I store them. I have read to dry completely the seeds after removal from the buds and remove and extra material before storing. I usually dont try to sprout seeds less than a month after I get them from the bud, unless the fall naturally to the soil then I have no choice what they do.

I am so tempted to be in the garden today top dressing and watering but does not need to be done. I got to lay off the garden till saturday.
