Yeah if you're thinking about trying them, I'd get on it because they're limited editions apparently. I actually wanted to try the Malawi x Panama instead of the Panama x Malawi because it's supposedly a much more psychedelic high. However, the way they described the Panama as that giggle/euphoria inducing central american stuff made me think of the days I use to smoke what I am sure was similar landrace strains. I guess the Malawi just gives it an extra resinous punch. 18-23% THC ranges isn't bad, but the Malawi x Panama was supposed to be 20-25%.

I'm just sad that I already gave my buddy 4 of the Bangi Haze and he proceeded to cook them to death so only 4 left there. They weren't feminized either :o

I'm getting ready to do a little bit of a pheno hunt with the Panama x Malawi and my own Platinum Girl Scout Cookies x Cherry OG cross. I'm pretty excited because it looks like I have a nice "praying" playing in the Panama x Malawi, plus another that's getting ridiculously big for a seedling in a solo cup--so I think I have my yielder and potency cuts. Once I select which ones I like I'm gonna do some colloidal silver reversal to get S1 seed crops.

I took a bunch of (20) foto captures today, but I have been swamped, Missus has got a summer cold, I got work responsibilities at about 5 times my normal load, personal responsibilities loaded extra as well, makes my eyes hurt. So just a quick look this morning I hope to feel a bit better later after I get some crap done.

Here we got some looks from today. No feeding or watering on the TPR. I am letting the blu mat take it for the next 5 days.Then a distilled watering. Then next month a top dress water in and see how it handles it. If it looks good 2 weeks later another top dress. then plain water into October and harvest.

This is my heavily seeded Auto CBG cross and back cross with Orient Express, it is a re veg of the Sativa leaning pheno from my home cross. It is my wife favorite for potency, She likes the PCKxKC for taste, but this cross is stronger just not a high yield-er.

It is pollinated with TPR so a new cross for me. These seeds are not really a priority it just happened while I was experimenting on my first Re-Veg.

Did the Erdpurt x PCK go hermie or did you pollinate it? Looks nice, wouldn't mind getting sees off it.

Thanks Fert. it is actually a PCK x Kali China (Fem seed) It did push some early nanners, but then just bloomed away without nanners as far as i remember.

Here is a pic from after harvest, this is the bottom of the stem after chop, you can see the yellowish nanners up the middle of the stem.
So it did self.
Not sure why? I blame the light for being to bright. I got nuthing.....

This current grow I am having seeds everywhere with my Triple Purple Rhino. It is pollinated with a male TPR so it is Reg seeds this round. But no cross or I would call it a in breeding. The buds are looking good this grow. Maybe not huge yield, I will be happy with a half Z.
Then with all these seeds I got some growing to do!

Gotta hit the road in the morning so they are on their own till Thursday. :cheertwo:

Though I could see some split calyxes with seeds there, but my eyes might be tricking me.

I'm not anti-seeds either. I tried reversing one of my Blackberry Kushes to get feminized seeds but only got 5 all together. I think people make a bigger deal of rogue pollen than it really is.

Oh I see. Yes indeed those are seeds. It is a open pollination triple purple rhino I had one male and one female sprout in the same container. It was intended. Gonna hurt yields but I knew that when I did it. It is all great fun.

I just smoked some 7 month cured Panama with some friends yesterday. We stood around laughing and bullshitting for an hour or more. It really has a great vibe for hanging out with friends and laughing. It's not as intense as Malawi, but definitely has its place in my strain catalogue. It's my go to for parties. Malawi can be a bit much for people. It also tends to cause a lot of introspection, so it's not as good for social situations. Now, for playing/listening to music, Malawi is phenomenal. It really opens the doors on the listening experience.

People get caught up on numbers and focus on the thc level. There's a lot more going on to create the buzzes that we love. It's the entourage effect. The terps, yes the terps......

You take the most beautiful pics. The purple starting up on those TR looks amazing. Lots of seeds there for playing with. That auto cbg, that you back crossed to orient express and now hit with the rhino, should mostly be photo seeds. You're breeding the auto portion out of it. I'm not sure if that's your intention. It should be in the low teens on chance of an auto now.

Yeah I was looking forward to the intense/trippiness to it. Then I found out I got the Panama x Malawi instead... But that kind of happy high doesn't sound too bad either.

:thankyou: Yes! no Intention of anything here just willy nilly accidents. It just happened to be in re-veg when the male started in with the pollen. Just a happy chance. The initial plant is not a stable cross but the male pollen will give me some new seeds to play with. I hope it stabilizes more with the new genetics. TPR is a mega hybrid, so I expect stabilization. The re veg process was a huge stress on the initial plant but it is my wife favorite morning smoke.

The number, indeed they do get to be a focus with the new strains don't they. Even for me and I do not partake. My wife she likes the old school, she wants the thai stick of the late 70s back. But she is getting a little bored with the current line up. She showed a liking for Girl scout cookies out in Denver 2 years ago now. I have these purps to mix things up, I also have some grape cookies, (regs) If she likes these
I hope for some powerful blast smoke for her. Just to mix it up.
I may go with my Ace seeds over the holidays and winter and then next summer try 2 each of my regs 2 TPR and 2 grape cookies. I figure 4 plants at one go is my max and I am bound to get one girl and/or one boy do some more seed making. triple purp cookie grape rhino..

But I do love the Ace catalog, so hard for me to resist a 2 landrace cross, I like the idea of it. I like the pure landrace strain just fine but something about a cross 50/50 of any type of landrace strain just seems natural for a hobby grower like me.

You guys blow me away with the Panama and Malawi and All the other type of Ace grows. Rockin it!:tommy:
If I change location I will get a taller tent. Wife doesn't like the un-seemingly look of a tall tent in our living/bed room but that is life in the big city. I think a tall tent looks majestic.

What size tent are you using? I have 2 4x4s. I plan on scrogging' the panama x malawi to deal with height, especially because I only have 400 w HPS to flower with anyway.

One of my Panama x Malawis smells very skunky! It's bigger than the rest as well. I have a feeling this will be the choosen phenotype. It's hard to commit to a legitimate hunt--cloning, flowering, then selecting donors based on which flower you like--versus just taking a guess at which will be the best.

Girl Scout Cookies is a really potent strain. I'm not really sure what kind I had but I wish I could have got a clone of her.
