it is why I sometimes wash my harvest, I dont really wash it like others, mostly just rinse lightly.

The hair is just there and here and over there, I dont fight it. :ciao:

I got one under the red before lights out. It seems to be helping speed up flower.

I dunno if i am doing it exactly right but i have one hour of red added at the end of lights out, with 13 min of red light after the main lights go out. so 13 min of only red to put plants asleep.

My favorite shots are the trichomes lined up along the edge of a leaf. I like to catch the glint of light flashing somewhere too. I love your closeups. :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

I feel like the red light helped accelerate the flower but probably hurt yield. Icemud seems to think it hurt his when he ran the red light if i recall. That being said I can probably harvest some test bud before Oct 1, get it into the refrig for a drying and smoke able by oct 15 if i am lucky.

Had a temp drop this week, I dont get home till sunday, will see if they have purped up a bit. I am also thinking of putting down something to catch seeds. it seems I always sprout seed from fresh pods while wait for them to mature on the plant.

I just put my Haze x Kali China into the flower area. And temps are dropping, but not as low as they will be a month from now. I'd love to capture some purple if any of the Haze purple genes decided to express.

Is it your understanding that cool temps late in flower do more to encourage purple, or cool temps all the way through flower?

My understanding is genetics high in 'anthocyanin' will cause the purple to come out when the chlorophyll breaks down(like the Haze gene). when it gets cold the green breaks down and the purple expresses. My thought was that you want enough green in the beginning of the season to help yield and then make a fall like environment and the green breaks down and purple expresses. Not 100 percent sure about that. just thinking outloud. coooler night and still warm days? It is what I am hoping for. 65-80 F

I'm running 81F days and 70F nights in flower. In another month, nighttime temps should go down to mid 60s - and then proceed to mid 50s in winter unless I add back in heat.

So it sounds like I'm in the right range. Thank you.

Sorry its been awhile, Summer has finally slowed down around here. Your girls are looking great and really enjoyed seeing all of your new seed adventures as well.

I'll have to pick your brain on the far red. You think its bringing down your yield? Very interested in hearing more.
All of my gear is packed away at least for 2 more weeks. Soil is cooking now just need to figure out what seeds I want to sprout. Thinking of starting off with 2 autos just to replenish the stocks and then off to some regulars for the winter season.

Also best of luck with the new job, sending over some positive vibes!

It is hard to tell about yield because it is my first run with triple purple rhino and my crop is seeded, heavily. I do think it brought down flower time. I am seeing one or 2 amber today (not even 6 week in flower) I also see a new flowering also today ( Call it second flowering )
I am planning on taking a smaller bud next week as a test. will see
....Icemud ran a test on the far red and he saw decreased yield....Link for reference...

I am hoping for 8-10 grams after seeding, I will be lucky. My stash is running low if I wanna start a longer flower time next. Yikes!

There is a ton of frost on the underneath of leaves and bottom seed pods.

Looks like the family home in florida rode out another hurricane. we on the east coast got put under a hammer of constant lines of T-storms. My wife is gonna go look next week see if we got any leakage. I got too many jobs to do to go to florida now.
