Tuesday is Photo day, Oh wait it is still monday, ah well screwed up in reverse again.

Some quick looks from this morning. I do believe the Triple Purple Rhino is going through a second flowering.

I think the top dress I did during flower is starting to put energy into the soil, i dunno.

I have put off the taster bud for today, maybe this week maybe next still not sure.

What a nice second round of flowering going on - probably adding a couple of weeks and a good bit more weight

I wondered that Me-self. I have seen it in the breeder pictures with this genetic, on IG. Maybe a reflection of purple from underneath. wicked nonetheless.

Temperatures and humidity are back up this week. I have the light turned down a bit keeping the temp below 83 as a target. I took some DSLR pics today gotta upload.

So, my math, i got 7 weeks since first pistil. i chopped a taster this morn. I am trying to get missus to sample, see which is which.
this 3X purple rhino has an 8 week breeder time. will see what happens with this.
full of mature IBL seeds.

Not a great day for the photog today just a couple of shots to keep it journaled.

I am getting the wiggle waggle feeling in my gut it is time to chop the TPR. So I figure I wait at least a week and target 2 weeks hence for chop.

The taster bud got inspected today, still super green. Smell is not strong from a far, got to stick the ol schnoz right up to it and it is danky with a hint of petting zoo. ya no shite, that is what I got today a memory of petting zoo from childhood, yes, I gotta cut back on my NyQuil addiction.
The seeds look great in the taster bud big fat seeds. I hope it is dryier next week for the missus to get a taste of lo and slo TPR.

I think I let the container dry out at some point and got those dry leaves

The resin is all over the place as you look inside the buds

Hard to spot any amber on green leaves but some on the dry leaves.

The container has been good and moist past 2 weeks. Plant has been drinking it up. I got the ol Blu Mat on duty and It has been doing well. Doing a slow drip I slowed the drip down today. I will turn it back up when I leave again on Tue-Wednesday.

Got some good clouds.

I could grab another taster bud, do the old harvest in steps.

It is my first grow with this Hybrid

Smaller harvet than I would like but super happy to have IBL TPR seeds. I got another plant growing well to follow this one up by about 4-5 weeks. New post for that.....Cheers!

Here is my AutoCBG x with ACE orient express (back-cross) This is a seed that dropped from a growing plant so I could be a mystery seed but that is my guess. The other possibility is it is a the re-veg crossed with the Male triple purple rhino, strong possibility. But it looks just like my original home made back cross at this point.

grown under 11/13 from sprout. and about 4-5 weeks old here.

Just under twelve inches me like, perfect for my space. The stretch has slowed or stopped in appearance.
I have to take a measurement from light down to top, some time.

It just sprouted and I let it go, I will no be surprised if it herms, my home made cross is not stable yet. but has been getting better every generation, so high hope with this one. No obvious nanners yet. i think i see the beginning though.

It will grow out alone and the grow is getting made over after it is done. Also I go away for maybe 2 weeks end of october. So perfect timing for it to be left alone and done with.

gotta share this with Sue if i think about it

Pretty sure i see a seed pod right here along the stem with brown pistil. I think the last one threw about 5 or 6 locations with nanners which was manageable with a small plant like this but still produces seeds which I do not need. Still i like the experiment.

Thank you Green! I know right. I am so glad I just let the sprout ride along. If I can get a 6-7 inch long cola I will be pleased as punch. If it turns out to be like I think it is (my fruity smelling friend), my missus will be happy as can be.

Temps should start dropping here in the mid atlantic. That should help both plants. I have to see If I can find a start date for the green.

the beginning of foxtails i see. Starting to think I could chop it next week. little ambers cropping up among the clouds and it may come down. I think the far red has brought it quicker, so that is a thing I believe it will help if I run the Zamaldelica next.

Now that I'm paying more attention I've noticed they change their scent dramatically about a week ahead of harvest. That may be the petting zoo aroma you're picking up, or is that a standard odor with this chemovar?

that is the greatest, making people laugh. i thought was funny. And cause it was true, i couldn't place the smell then the memory of childhood and the smell of the petting zoo.
it did not smell like that the next day tho. today it is smelling more sour skunk, i got to try to get a piccy.

Wife-y thinks it smells more like sour hops or day old beer.

Here it is. It needed to come out of the fridge to come up to temperature for a sniff, tehehehe.

This is my baby boy, my heart and soul, cutie pie feral cat 15 y/o, It is he who I may my infused oil for. Any who here it is, my little taster bud on it lo and slow journey.

The fridge technique always keep the color vibrant to my eye. It has been about a week in the fridge. still super moist and dense, dense.
with seeds too.
