A little more. I went to de-seed the sample bud, got about 10 mature seeds, 2 not quite mature.

I love the way the color stays with the bud during the refrig drying method.

The Male Dadio for this group was very vigorous and got taller than I was comfortable with but I think it was manageable.
It will go well with the shorter female Mom. I also hope for opportunity to see other expressions from this breed. The multi hybrid TPR oculd bring many things to the table.

"Open pollinated" generally refers to seeds that will "breed true". When the plants of an open-pollinated variety self-pollinate, or are pollinated by another representative of the same variety, the resulting seeds will produce plants roughly identical to their parents. My seeds should 'breed true' to the triple purple rhino. for now they will dry in bud then 3-4 weeks in paper or cardboard box to dry before going into the fridge maybe revisit in one year time.

The colors of that chemovar are startling. :thedoubletake: Like you, I have great appreciation for the flavonoid retention of the low and slo drying. I swear keltic, we're becoming crazy spoiled. :laughtwo: I'm growing so used to these high-quality buds. I started using the dehydrator and when you take the buds out in the end the hairs are still sticking out wildly like they were at harvest. Lol!

Bold colors are becoming your trademark. Foxtails too. You grow some of my favorite foxtails. :hugs:

ah the smell is super my thing. since i dont get to partake the fruits of my labor very often i find the smell to be my thing. the strength i never know.

Your Triple Purple Rhino does indeed look like it is going to add more weight, your Ace x Cannabiogen cross has a bud shape I just love, and those TPR seeds came out looking great.

My homemade seeds are all accidental, so I've just stored them for 18 months in the cupboard. They were still vigorous last time I planted them, so I'm sure your seeds will last for at least a decade :)

Just when I think I am going to come home and chop, I see healthy looking signs of more weight. The seeds look great almost all mature or close enough to keep. I cleaned the first sample bud a little more and missus tried a bit. Got about 10 more beautiful seeds.

The Missus tried a bowl-ful. She has a sore throat and cannot taste a thing. But 15-20 minutes later she wanted more, which is the telling sign of good smoke. She has good smoke on hand so when she asks for some of the new smoke, I know I did good. She said it was smooooth. I have about 3 more bowl-fuls for her to sample over the next days.

I could smell a touch of the grape in the smoke, excellent, (I might have a sample meself come the end of the month). & I could finaaly smell the sweet while I was cleaning the bud today. That is what I was looking for, sweeeetSmelling (grape too)
Got another bud in the fridge cooling and drying, cannot wait to get this a couple of weeks cure.

My heart soars with the prospect of these reg. seeds. I have not determined how strong the smoke is, missus is under the weather. She cannot tell what is what right now.

Triple Purple Rhino!

Got a bunch of foto captures today filled the blu mat with 1 liter of RO water. did a little rotate of the container to look at the leaves and trichs. I gotts to watch for mold.
Now recent weather as the temp drops and RH is down things are looking good for finishing up.

When it comes to harvest timing, sometimes more is more. I've been watching Canada Guy take some LSD plants way beyond what I would do, 100+ days and he is getting some magnificent yields out of buds that look more like millet or wheat buds than cannabis. Canada Guy's Medical Fusion Grow

I barely get a chance to line dry around here, much less refrigerator cure. I did an emergency dehydration of 8.5g that was hanging on the lines last night to last us 2 more days before they are finished. I might need bigger grow areas :)

I think I am 8 week in flower, I want to chop at least a top bud just to move into the next phase. I have to leave for 2 weeks at the end of this month. Gonna be a stress on the ACExCBG but the Triple Purple Rhino should be harvested and in the fridge or jar by then.

I nearly jumped up and down when I saw this. :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: There, I did it virtually. LOL!

My Dark Devil autos doe that, but they go purple in the Trichome stems and the caps stay clear. It's the coolest thing ever to have purple oil in the trichomes, isnt its? Makes me giggle in appreciation every time. :laughtwo:

Do Ya think that is a good one? I have trouble with full plant cause I have the Blu-mat hooked up and I cannot remove it as easy from the tent to take piccys. Such a cute plant, the purps are dark or darker to the naked eye.

Super glad if they can use them on the social media pages. I got more snaps today, tehehehehe. I also am rolling thru the PIT airport this week and again in two weeks hence. Never know where I will pop up.
