Keffka's Recycling, KOS Blue Thai, Herbies Seeds Apple Betty, Runtz Punch

That'll learn ya. Lol.

Maybe.

Instead of thinking “next time don’t talk shit” my brain went “you grew huge colas, now how can we make sure the stem never splits again cuz that was a pie in the face”.

In reality, I’ll think about this stem for the rest of my life, on every grow, so there’s my learning moment 😂

I had to talk shit about the branches and now this plant has had its finish pushed back a week

The colas became too heavy for the main stem and split it down the middle about an inch, inch and a half. It was the thickest stem out of the bunch, so I can only imagine how heavy the colas are. I wrapped the stem back up with garden tape then tied twine around that to hold it together. I had to reposition the colas. This plant will take an extra week to finish due to the recovery
Sorry to hear that your colas are too big for their own good Mr Keffka. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

1st world problems Buddy!🤣

It’s definitely the best problem I could have at this point 😂

I’m a bit shocked to be honest. I gave her extra headroom above the node for this very reason, and she still blew it out. I’m thinking from now on I’m gonna give 3/4 inch minimum above the node. I’m also thinking about using single level halos to support the colas at their base so there’s not so much stress on the main stem.

Do you supercrop them before that initial restraint or just pull it right against the main stem straight away? I like to supercrop mine which moves the stress point out an inch or so and seems to help spread out the tension.

Seems to work for me but then again I don't have your colas. :(

I do not. I wait for each branch to get large enough to work lightly with my fingers. I work the branch into the position I want until it has its first node then I restrain it there.

I had a plant I was trying the super crop method on but it was the lone male

I run wires between the corner posts of the tent to end up with 1 wire on each sidewall running front to back just below the light.

Then I run 6 wires across between the 2 sidewall wires, giving me 6 overhead wires evenly spaced across the tent front to back.

Then I use those cross wires to tie my colas up to. It makes for ugly pictures but it's very effective to keep the colas upright.

The majority of the colas are holding themselves quite well but the weight was just too much at that singular point. I’m gonna finally bite the bullet and devise a net system either below or above the light. I’ll use it as a place to hook yo-yos to and support the buds that way. I’ve got like 60 yo-yos and I like the way they support.

I’m also going to test these out

+62 you can see the amber trichomes with the naked eye, here’s a shot with them circled you can see the shift in coloring at the tips. The following shot will be with whiter light which also shows the same bud where you can see the amber trichomes again

Ugh.. I hate waking up and seeing my dog had diarrhea in the middle of the night but didn’t wake me up. He’s smart enough to know to go in the far corner of the hard floored room where no one else goes but it makes me feel bad that he obviously had a belly ache.

I imagine he got into some shit the kids left around or snatched something out of the garbage. I walk him at the same time every day and feed him the same meat, veggies and gravy every day and he’s super regular, so it’s gonna be something he wasn’t supposed to have.

It's almost time to log the Old Growth Forest😎. Nice colors coming in😍.

There’s flecks of red/pink which is really cool looking when it’s covered in so many trichomes. I can’t wait to try these blue Thais, I’ve never seen trichomes like they have. I’m super excited to see how hard the homegrown indicas hit. I love a good zone out

Looking yummy

:drool::drool:

They look so tasty! They’re throwing off waves of smells that are pretty intense and are covered in so many thick layers of trichomes. I can’t even brush past them without getting sticky

I’m not going to bother with scoping/louping the trichomes. They’re large, and numerous enough that I can see them with my naked eye. There’s a clear difference in the appearance of the buds in the places that have turned amber, and there’s a clear difference where they’ve turned cloudy from clear. This is perfect for me because I can’t hold a loupe steady enough. I really can’t even hold my phone very steadily, it gets much harder the smaller my viewing window becomes
