Keffka's Recycling, KOS Blue Thai, Herbies Seeds Apple Betty, Runtz Punch

I love Rev's seeds. His genetics haven't been overly bred very far away from landrace, so when a batch of F1 seeds are made, the pheno possibilities are endless.

You find some very cool unique sativa traits in them. Lots of sword-blade buds. Lots of phenos with really long 11 blade fan leaves.

Also lots of reds and maroons in his genetics so the foliage quite often gets very cool colors in late flower.

Very fun showy stuff for sativas.

So I went to stop by my grow store Cultivation Station today. It was closed with a for lease sign in the window. I am genuinely disappointed.. They sold everything I needed at prices below Amazon and the internet. They were kind of old school though and were still pushing HPS ballasts for example. If I knew they were closing I would’ve bought large amounts of stuff to prepare but I had no idea.. I was there two months ago for this current grow and they didn’t say a thing.

Anyway I need a new store.. @SmokingWings and @Sueet I tried sending a PM but I can only send it to one person at a time.. Where do you two shop for your amendments/soils/garden products? The big chain stores rarely carry the majority of the amendments I use and the smaller stores I’ve checked usually only have one brand or aren’t really stocked well.
I know the store. Stopped by to pick up a couple of items and the yard was cleaned out of all pallets and the sucurity blinds secured the windows. Went by a day later and the For Lease sign was in the window.

I noticed that the HPS and old school lighting was a potential problem for them. Kind of surprised me that they never got into a larger stock of LED lighting. Yes, on the prices being better than on-line.

When I get back from this sudden unplanned out of town family event I will give you a couple of physical places that might be interesting if you have not already found them.

Also.. neighbors plant is stretching like crazy.. it’s gotta be at least 8 feet tall.. the fence is around 6’

That thing is gonna stink

If it comes over into your yard you can have a test!

It’s stretched even further.. I’ll snap a pic after work.. I’m almost about to walk over there and chat with them.. It’s a very healthy plant

This is what happens when no one in the design or installation process understands just how much water soil can hold and why it’s a horrific design element to run your gutter drain directly onto the soil.

The amount of water held by the soil has pushed the wall out completely and it’s gonna fall soon.. this setup would’ve been fine if they wouldn’t have ran a commercial building roof drain into it

Try supercropping one of them close to the main stem. Takes a lot of stress off that joint for later when they get big and the stress makes them more likely to split.

I actually super cropped one of the plants last night.. I thought the same thing.. “hmm.. super cropping right by the base could actually work in my favor let’s try it on one” was my thought.

I also leave a bit of the main stem above the third node like this:

Hmmm. Maybe we have different definition of Supercropping. Mine are like a 45* bend in the stem after it comes off the main stem, like maybe an inch out.

I didn’t snap a pic of the super crop. I did it on the 2nd node of a single plant. I did the same thing as I did last grow except closer to the base and on both sides of the stem instead of just the main stem.. I bent them slowly until they gave out and went limp like an 1/8 - 1/4 of an inch from the base.. no skin breaking this time though since they’re so much younger they were a lot more pliable

Ah, I see. I thought you were showing a picture of it :laughtwo:.

To bend mine I press the stem against, and partially around, a round object like a pen. I've broken way too many stems just using my fingers especially when they're this small and pliable.

Lol I figured that’s what happened.. The pic I showed was an example of how I leave a little extra on the main stem above the 3rd node.. As you likely know this helps strengthen that area for when the branches and buds get heavy.

It actually makes me think of a tiny human with huge shoulder muscles when it gets bigger lol.

I remember you saying that the last time we were talking Super cropping.. I think it was @Gee64 that had struggled a bit with bending the stem without snapping. originally I didn’t even have the intent to super crop but because I was trying to keep the 2nd node from overtaking the third it seemed like it was worth a shot. I also remember thinking last grow that SCing the branches when they’re young like that would probably build out a strong plant. I think I’ll test it out on one of the other plants by SCing everything

That nasty sound still haunts me

I’m not surprised it was a little more difficult for you.. There’s a high probability your brix levels were significantly greater than mine which would mean your stems were likely stronger than mine to begin with.

I’m going lazy mode.. The next two transplants are getting put into their containers but will be getting just @GeoFlora Nutrients Veg blend top dressings. It’s still my super soil just no extra fertilizers.

If I take them to flower I’ll be a little more thoughtful

looks like bug damage to me... no one seems to ever see the things, but they are usually there nevertheless.
It does look a lot like russet mite damage.
