Quick update:
Long day was long, both at work and in cleaning out the res, the airstones and getting 4 gallons of RODI out. Bought the adapter and some pliers at the local Ace (1/2 block away!) and I'm sure the plants are happier.
Got home and added 9 gallons of RODI and a couple of gallons of tap, came out to 100ppm. I thought that was a little high, so I pulled 3 gallons of that (saved it), and added 3 more gallons of RODI to replace it. Somethings wonky on my ppm meter (I'll drag it to the hydro shop and make them look at/calibrate it), as it was only reading 100 and 0 ppms....WTF.
Anyhow, I know the ppm is < 100, so I adjusted the pH down to 5.6, and am finally (yes, right now) calling it a night. Oh, almost done trimming off the cooked out shit leaves, this was a valuable lesson in calcium toxicity.
