Jon's Outdoor Winter Photoperiod Grow

Good call bro, truth is I hate giving people bad news. Lmao 🤣 CL🍀
Lmao!!! It didn’t take a genius to see, lol. My concern now is obviously the Mimosa. She’s about showing, and so far no signs of male or hermie. I’ve never had a plant just begin male like that. Not a hermie. That was a straight male. Guess that 99% female rate just bit me in the ass. However, I believe I got it before anything popped. We’ll know soon enough. Boy do I love throwing several hundred dollars away just for shits and giggles.

Here’s the Mimosa so far. Keeping my fingers crossed.

One thing growing has done for me as a human being is that it has allowed me to achieve a personal goal of mine. It is all too easy to SAY “don’t stress that which you cannot control.” I say it all the time, lol. But is it true? Do I really believe myself? I’m sure you guys must know what I mean. I imagine we all go through this. But since I’ve been doing this a couple years now and have had my share of plants go south for one reason or another…suddenly I’m finding I am much closer to being able to say honestly “I’m over it cuz I can’t control it.”

That Humboldt Dream hurt for a few minutes. But it happens. These are plants. There are no guarantees. I can’t control it, I can’t do a thing about it.

So why stress it? Move on.

Make sense to anyone or is this just dumbass me?

All that said, this would not be one of my brag about it grows.  We’ve lost a Crescendo, a Mimosa Zkittlez, a Banana Sherbet, and now a Humboldt Dream. Not to mention our runt of a Banana Daddy auto. Lmao.

However - the Strawberry Haze in the other journal and this White Widow auto will save me. And if the Mimosa doesn’t turn, she’ll rock too.

Live and learn. I gotta show the good the bad and the ugly or I’m not representing the reality of the grow.

My dimass thinks your dumbass is right on! Letting it go is one of the most important things! Where would I be now knowing my current grow is my least successful? What if I were to be sensitive about it? Ptoey on that! I'll figure it out and get back on track with the next group! CAn't control it all!

Thought about trying this in the contest this month since it’s curing now, but somehow I didn’t feel right about entering a bud that was hitting the jars the day of the photo. Lmao

Here’s the sum of her off the branches. Is she even four ounces?
Ask not whether that's even four ounces (it's not ;) ) but is it frosty AF?

100% female. Is that the question?
Ok, it’s official! I’ve done it!!! I have grown the smallest huge plant ever!
3.89. Lmao.
Still stunning, and as long as 3.89oz doesn't leave you dankrupt, that's a beautiful win.
@InTheShed - you were right.
Heh.
Best kind of right. :high-five:

Big Changes!!!

Ok guys, this journal is down to just one plant, the Mimosa. She now lives in the 5x5 by herself!

We have transferred the two autos to a completely new situation.

Here’s the link!

So the Mimosa will finish right here, and all the other action is in the two ViparSpectra sponsored journals.

Here’s how she looks in her upgraded digs.

Man, I don't know what it is with your journals, but I got dropped from notifications again! Pretty frustrating, but I'll go get caught back up.

Looking good so far @Jon . Killing it as usual. :thumb:
I’m sure it’s my fault Azi, everything is. I tried the part in the create the journal page at the end where it says tags, but none of them took. Sorry

Mimosa

This plant is loving life having the whole penthouse to herself. Anytime I’ve done the one plant in a 5x5 it’s worked out very well. Hopefully this one does too. She’s working with 680 watts all to herself. Heh.
