Jon's Outdoor Winter Photoperiod Grow

Hi @StoneOtter and @Rexer - got a question for you guys.

Is this what I need to chill a res? Or something like it?

@Tokin Roll or @Grand Daddy Black - either of you have any idea? Sorry, I’m still trying to get a handle on who knows what. Lol. Thanks.

I hear that, but in this case the fault is entirely mine. Way way too much perlite in the bottom. She’s dammed up and the roots are not getting through it. I planted her wrong, she came up wrong, and I never took the steps necessary to correct her. All my fault. And btw - little yield? Not generally for me. Last White Widow = 11+ oz, last Watermelon WeddingCake = 13.8 oz. Both autos.
They stunned and then turned to Pygmy’s. I’m not sure what I did wrong but it turned me off to Auto’s. CL🍀

Day 37

Res change yesterday. Budlets today. I guess it’s on. I was hoping for more action before budlets. That said, I have a good amount of excellent stemage under each cola, and I’ll get to see what a relatively untrained plant does.

I have one of these controller.
What do you need to know?
Will it chill a 5 gallon or 10 gallon res to 65 degrees if the ambient temperature is 75?

I have that controller connected to my chilling probe, which will reduce temperature 7 or 8 degrees from the ambient temperature.

Hope this helped.
Tok..
Thanks @Tokin Roll , that was precisely what I wanted to know. I couldn’t locate numbers where the product said what it’s capable of. That’s about all I need. That would get me to 65 or so. Isn’t 65 degrees a good res temperature? Thanks?

I get that too, it happens to a lot of people, me included. I stuck with them though, and now I’m half decent at getting yield from an auto.

@Remo Nutrients

You were right @StoneOtter, I am very impressed with the Remo system so far. Veg growth was even and robust. Although she looks washed out in the picture (due to the red light and the 420h), she has and has had a perfect green the whole grow. No blemishes, no deficiencies, no overloads. Smooth. Honestly they are very similar to the PB nutes to my eyes. Psyched to see how they do now in flower.

Here’s the sum of her off the branches. Is she even four ounces?

After doing this with bare hands of course my hands were sticky as hell. A few drops of @Mile HIGH Cleaner, rub my hands together, wait a minute, rinse with soap and water. Clean hands!!! It works so well it’s insane.

Here’s what the buds are like off the stem:

Before I pull it I need confirmation, but I’m 99% sure this is a male plant. This is not how buds are supposed to begin forming. Anyone disagree?

It sure looks like a dude to me but I’m still relatively new to this so a consensus might be appropriate. lol CL🍀

Nope. I’m pulling it. Seen enough buds to know this is all wrong. I’m just hoping the Mimosa isn’t toast.
