Jon's Outdoor Winter Photoperiod Grow

Frosty ☃️ looking 👀 how do they smell? Beautiful looking girls bro. CL🍀 :goodjob: :bravo::woohoo::Namaste:
The PMC smells like sweet citrus. When you touch a bud it leaves oil in your fingers that takes forever to get off. Super frosty and sticky. And you see how leafy she is. Gonna be a pain in the ass trim.

Yeah but looks like a job anyone of us would want. Looking 👀 forward to the smoke report. CL🍀 :goodjob: :bravo::party::thumb:

Gear Change in the Flower Closet!
Humboldt Dream
Flower Day 9

One of the most important lessons I’ve learned about growing is the importance of remaining flexible. It’s all too easy to get an idea in our heads and hold onto that thought even when the plant may be telling us something else. Allow me to demonstrate:

The Humboldt Dream. This plant is lovely. She has very fine, flexible stems still - even the four main colas in the middle. In defoliating this morning and working the plant, suddenly I realized what she’s been trying to tell me. I couldn’t hear her until I considered doing something OTHER than my Sombrero Quad as planned. Once I considered that an option rather than an immutable choice I heard her loud and clear.

She was begging me for a flat canopy. So I obliged her.

Here’s her new look. A bit unruly at the moment but she’ll be sweet as hell in a few days by the time we see budlets.

Good call!

PMC XXL Auto
Day 74

Well, I have patches with lots of amber and others mostly all white, with just a few clear. I’m going to take her tomorrow morning, on day 75. Nice round number. As such, today I’m going to borrow a page out of @InTheShed playbook - I’m going to make my life easier and trim the fans while she’s still upright. I saw him do that and his answer about it was so obvious I can’t believe I never figured it out. It’s only one day. She don’t need them fans. Lmao. Thanks Shed!

Here’s the trichome shots.

Thanks for sharing your experience, making a note in my mental notebook. CL🍀 :goodluck: :thanks::Namaste:

Well, I did these two little branches. Can’t go on. Regardless of trichomes, this plant is not ready. I can see it much more clearly, so glad I did these. But she needs more time.

Here’s the two I did, now minus the large fans, and an ultra frost shot.

White Widow
Day 33

I believe this plant is heading into flower right now. She is poised to take this tent over. Watch her go now. This is about when the last one went from an average auto to POTM. It was as if suddenly all hell broke loose. This plant has not been trained at all. The only thing I did was top the main above node 4. I haven’t taken a leaf or touched a branch. Wanna see what happens. Hoping she does like the first one did and goes nuts.

Later today I will change the res to flower feed and away we go.

Mimosa
Humboldt Dream
Flower Day 10

Both these girls are kicking ass in the closet. Loving life. I think the consistency of their environment may be a positive factor here.

As always an infinite amount Jon! That WW is a beaut!
Thanks @StoneOtter! Yeah she’s really gonna go nuts. I can see the side branching coming in now. And that little bamboo bridge is the essence of simplicity and will make a dramatic difference. All the lower branching in the colas will now get the appropriate amount of light. Never did it before. Should have! I can’t seem to capture just how perfect and glorious this Mimosa is in pictures. She’s an astonishing beast, wait til you see her bud out.

The PMC smells like sweet citrus. When you touch a bud it leaves oil in your fingers that takes forever to get off. Super frosty and sticky. And you see how leafy she is. Gonna be a pain in the ass trim.
Try ONE DROP of Mile HIGH Cleaner on your sticky fingers. Rub it in then wipe or wash your hands. Instantly clean and leaves your skin soft with no irritation or smell

Changes to the Flower Closet!

Let’s bring in some more reds! I did it this way one time before - with the Jelly Rancher several grows back. Many of my people think it was the best plant I’ve grown. Let’s give it a shot.
