I'm thinking that since all plant metabolism is slowing down at those temps, so that could be the reason for the leaf color change.I mean specifically purple. Doesn't even seem to matter what strain, or if it's photo or auto, they all seem to go purple with colder temps consistently. No question about it! I always use the peach tree parallel, where you end up with loads of tiny useless peaches if you let it flower on its own, but if you thin (on peach trees that's one flower every 8" or so) you end up with fuzzy beauties.The buds are very well developed for day 15, and I wonder if removing growth robbing extraneous crap has helped this. @InTheShed, what do you think?
The root system can support a certain amount of flower weight at harvest, and you can either spread that weight out among loads of tops and larf, or you can get rid of the stuff you don't want and have the plant send all the growth hormones to what's left.
