CJS Apple Blossom
Grow Day 63
Flower/Stretch Day 3
So we were talking about plants cooperating with training, @StoneOtter, and I'll tell you what, this is probably the most cooperative strain I've ever grown. Just look at how evenly she's stretching! I haven't done a thing yet. I'm going to wait a few more days, then spread and even out on day 5 of the stretch, about 1/3 of the way through. Then let them go five more days and do it again, and by then we ought to be in good shape. She's just beginning the get a tiny bit unruly, and she's bushing up nicely. Still debating one second node growth staying or going, lol. I'm wondering if you have ever noticed what I believe I do - when you train a plant out and create a bunch of bud sites like this, and like we do, it seems to affect the stretch in terms of how evenly the sites stretch. They seem to stretch more evenly when the plant is trained like this, vs. having two or three rouge colas going nuts while the rest stays in place, you know? Anyway, I noticed that on the recent tent harvest plants, and again on this girl. I don't believe it's just strain specific, I think it's about how we spread out the energy. Just pontificating here.
