Oh I loooove animals, especially pups!! They are puppies to me at 150lb or 2! Howie is sooooo cute!!!

Edit...I had to look again and the 3rd pic you can't even tell where he ends and that begins!

Every time I do this I get in shite from Teddy.
But I just saw Hashfarts beautiful bulldog. Like a playboy centerfold.
So here goes.

Howie - Cockapoo
Merle is the color.

Ah! I get it now. Lol. Gorgeous little guy! Sweet! His nose and front of his face looks just like Molly's. They'd get along well. Not when she's in heat. Sorry. No nookie for Howie here. Lol!

Teddy should give me shite too if he gives it to you, I'm the one who encouraged you and it's my thread. I'll take the heat.

:rofl::rofl:

Next time just toss a 420 lighter in the picture or something. Problem solved. Lmao.

Just stick one of your plants or a couple of seeds in the frame. Easy, peazy. Problem solved. :p
Great minds Azi - I hadn't yet seen this post when I posted my suggestion at the bottom of the thread. Lol!

We call that couch throw blanket the Ostrich.
It looked like Ostrich feathers when we got it.
He lays on that blanket and disappears.
He has infused some youth into my life. :green_heart:
He gets along great with Peanut and Smokie aswell, even though he sneaks some of their cat food now and then.
I still miss Chewy but Howie is doing his best to help. :thumb:
Take care Krissi.

So here's a strange one....

Very curious as to whether or not this is just me.

I'm smoking my Gorilla Zkittlez. Of all my strains, this is the only one that possesses this particular quality. If I take a small bud, say a good bowl sized bud or a large bong hit sized bud, and I toss it in and smoke it as is, with no cutting or breaking up, I get high X. If I take that same bud and grind it up in my grinder, I get high X + Something measurable and obviously more. I get WAY higher when I grind it. I get that the grinder may release some odor and potentially some taste I guess, but should it get me higher? I rarely experience this, although it has happened before.

Am I the only person who experiences this? If so, lol. Ok, it's me. If not, anyone who does have any clue as to why this would be, and why it would be strain specific?

Toldja it was a strange one. Lol.

How is you getting in heck too going to help?
You make me smile.
I've been warned so you getting the finger wag also won't make him any happier.
I am supposed to set an example, and making Teddy un happy won't be a good one.
I have to figure out how to edit a plant into my pics somehow.
That way I'm covered.
Seeing as I'm computer illiterate I doubt that's happening any time soon,
so I better start behaving.
Thanks again.

Edit: just read your last post.
Does it make a difference if you use a bud buster as apposed to a grinder?
Just wondering if the amount they have been ground up makes a difference?
Same either way to me.
I like to just stick a bud in the bowl whole now and then.
I can't tell the difference in effect between the 2.
But I'm not a great judge so who knows. :thumb:

Lol. Teddy's awesome. I was only joking with you. But yes, please behave. If the mods would just hurry up and start selling 420 Magazine dog collars this will cease to be an issue for dog lovers worldwide.

You are Brilliant.
Have you talked to Rob yet.
He is pretty open minded but that might be a tough sell.
I don't even know if he has any pets.

and as far as I know I am not related to any of you...
I'd like a swab Em. It's pretty obvious we're family here by our agreements and disagreements over our common goals. If that ain't related then I don't know what is.;)

I don't know what to say. This plant is exceeding all my expectations. I had to add to her support game today.

Otter had some fun with you on this, @Emilya, I'm jumping in too, and I bet you could use a smile this morning (who can't?), so as far as your statement above, I will simply ask,

Aren't we ALL related, however distantly? Pretty sure at this point that can be scientifically proven. So you're actually related to every single person here.

Can I come over and smoke your weed sis?

Apple Blossom
Flower Day 44
@Kanno26, we had discussed this, it may help, Idk...

This plant is advertised as a 45 day flower. She will not be ready tomorrow, lol. But I don't think she'll go two more weeks. She is beginning to cannibalize her lower, older fan leaves. I'm getting a really nice, consistent fade with no spots or streaks. For some reason I equate this with a healthy plant. And a fade at this point on a plant with a fast flower like this is about when I would expect to start to see it, if not a little earlier.

I also associate this fade - which appears to be a straight green to yellow fade - with what I've done with temperature this time. Or, what I haven't done. I have not done the "get it real cold at night" thing with this girl. Her overnight temps are around 68 degrees. Daytime I let her go to about 77-79. Yes, it's a ten degree difference. But I am arguing here that 68 degrees is not cold enough to activate whatever gets activated by cold to begin to produce some of the crazy colors like I got on the last tent plants pre-coco girls. Especially the purples. Whenever I've done the cold thing, I have let them go down as low as 55 degrees a couple times, mostly around 58-60. I never get this type of fade when I do that. So my observational conclusion is that one can control how one's leaves change very easily with temperature manipulation. If you want pretty colors and a trend towards purple, go cold. If you want to keep the leaves green as long as possible, keep it warm.

Obviously this is not scientific. But does anyone have any commentary? Most appreciated.

Yes. Those plants look awesome!

JK, I think you're right about the cooler temps than you've got being needed for the pretty colors. I wonder if the colors really enhance anything, though.

Congrats on another great grow!

Thanks Azi. I don't think they DO enhance anything. In fact, I am beginning to believe the opposite, which is why I did it this way this time. Yes, the colors are pretty and make for nice pics. But when the leaves turn like that, especially if it's early, they also seem to die off more quickly. And I don't know how much photosynthesis a healthy, but purple, leaf produces versus a healthy green one. All I know is when I do the cold temps, I end up with less working fan leaves than I want and than I know the plant wants.

Heck, as long as we're ruminating....

Does anyone think that long term cured weed picks up potency with the cure?

Smell and taste and smoothness - yes, obviously.

But potency? Yea or nay?

I'm not sure myself. Sometimes it seems like it does get stronger. Others not at all. But it's so hard to tell without measuring the weed before and after when all you're going by is your senses.

Hey @InTheShed, you might just be someone who has a paper somewhere in storage on this....got anything that sciences out THC and other compound levels before and after a long cure time? (just wishful thinking maybe....)

Longer maybe for a complete cure. Curing is about evenly drying the bud, but more importantly giving the microbes a chance to work their magic in converting stuff. That's why drying too quickly can ruin a cure by killing off the microbes. Then, even rehydration doesn't help if you've dried too far because of it.

So, a longer cure, up to a point, is a more thorough cure, and therefore more potent than a shorter or more rushed one.
