Jon's Dedicated Fruity Pebble Cookies Grow Plus The Mystery Plant

Hey @Costanza!

They were and are almost always my first choice for Photos. Then I found some others I like just as much, like Ethos and Grower's Choice, and I use a few of the Dutch breeders too. But yes, here's my list of HSC grown plants so far:
- Pineapple Upside Down Cake
- Blueberry Muffin
- Jelly Rancher (this is what you have - they changed the name to Hella Jelly)
- Raspberry Parfait
- Apple Blossom
- Sour Apple Autoflower

And I also have a new 10-pack of their latest THC bomb strain, the Blueberry Cupcake. Check that one out. Can't wait to grow them. You actually witnessed most of these plants, but maybe not the Jelly Rancher. It's in their catalog that Hella Jelly is the Jelly Rancher renamed, although they don't say why. But dude, if you have that, grow that!!!! It's maybe my favorite end product of every plant I've ever grown, no shit. It's beyond sweet, beyond fruity, the buzz is spectacular, the pain relief is solid, and the plant is a demon. She smells like pink and blue cotton candy in the tent in flower. Check it out - here's my prize Jelly Rancher. It worked out that grow so that she flowered out completely by herself in the 5x5 under a Maxsisun 400 watt quantum board and my two blurples providing the reds, so she got full spectrum from the main light and reds only from the blurples for all of flower. That was just a TON of wattage to toss at one plant, over 900 watts between the three lights. 1300 ppfd at the end of flower. I also dropped her temps at night that grow to the mid-50s, and she purpled up BIG TIME as a result. See? Here's a couple pics, and sorry for the blurple influence, but as you see, the Jelly Rancher is NO JOKE, and makes gigantic, dense colas. This plant was 6.5 ounces dried and jarred if memory serves. These were taken maybe a day before harvest.

You can see the whole grow of the PUC, BM, and JR here if you're interested, my first grow journal here, and my second overall grow ever. It includes my scrog that was going perfect until I lost ALL of it to seeds. The scrog was a dedicated Humboldt Seed Company grow. This grow also had my first grow with autos included, 9 of them in a second 5x5.

I have never once been disappointed in HSC genetics. I am also one of those who believes that California stands with any other environment on Earth for growing weed and easily competes with any Amsterdam or Dutch seedbank. There's a reason they named the Emerald Triangle the Emerald Triangle, and there's no debate over where more than half of the good weed strains in the United States originated, many of which are the building block strains of weed we all grow now. Cali rules, and was the cutting edge of everything weed long before states like Oregon, or Maine.
Yep this is why I chose alot of california genetics, cali connection, exotic genetix, csi Humboldt, hsc, and twenty20 mendochino

Jungle

1. Elora, the branch that is directly in front of my eyes when I open the tent.
This branch sits almost against the door of the tent when it's zipped up. It's the easiest one to try and show you the ?stacking?. This is a really long line of pearls, and it pales by comparison to most of the branches in the canopy. There's just no way all this can join together I don't think. It that were to happen, it's going to get pretty goddamn yieldy around here.

2. Fulvia, from distance and max zoomed, showing her four rogues, that much taller than the rest and all these branches have strings of pearls like on Elora, only bigger, longer, and more.

3. Spud Bud Canopy

Yup. They will, too, only with many more tops than here! I am psyched to watch it go down. If I had legs and was 9 feet tall, I would have scrogged this tent...lmao.

Wait you have no legs Jon? Are you really Lt Dan incognito

Lol x1000, I guess you're serious! Wow, I thought the secret was already out. Yup, I can't walk. Six years as of last April 17th. I'm 57 tomorrow for reference. Fell off a ladder. Passed out from vasil vegal syndrome and went horizontal and unconscious at 24' onto a wooden deck. The dude on the other ladder working with me was my younger brother Mike. He has PTSD from watching me fall. Lol.

So yes, although I prefer Speedy or comparisons to Stephen Hawking. Lol.

Oh wow I did not know that. I could see why the scrog ain't your thing then. I bet that was traumatic for your bro, I watched a co worker accidently touch the prongs on a break box once when I was an electrical apprentice. Knocked the guy back about 10 feet off the ladder and smacked him into the wall. Guy lived but was really fucked up after that he can barely hold a conversation now

I could tell you didn't @Costanza. Lol. I don't land on it in the journal too often anymore, and rarely show pics that make it obvious. Not surprising you didn't know. So yes, as I learned on my first and only scrog, for exactly that reason the scrog net is out. All my plants have to be able to rotate. (Exception: 7' tall canopies with 3' of open space under the canopy so plenty of space for me to mole around and work underneath....but what dummy in a wheelchair would be either naive enough or reckless enough to even attempt something like that?) One of my long term projects for part of my stamp in this industry will be as a specialist in coaching wheelchair bound people in growing. I'll go to their place for like a week every day and show them everything based on their own particular wheelchair technology (makes a gigantic difference in what you can do). Then coach remotely through their grows. Take on maybe a dozen of them at a time, twice a year, and I think I can make a living like that. There are TONS of people like me who want to grow but either don't know how or are scared and need encouragement, you wouldn't believe it. Think of how many actual veterans are now veteran growers (there are some here I'm sure) and how many would like to be but are too daunted by the wheelchair thing? That's where I come in.

Anyway, yeah, now you know! Let's go for a walk and we can discuss it a little more.

Quickie 5 Photo Afternoon Update

1. Zkittlez Canopy.

2. Zkittlez Side Shot.
I love this picture.

3. Zkittlez Calyx Closeup With Bug. He died immediately after the picture. I let him live in case anyone can ID him.

4. This one is for @Costanza
- Hey C, here's a shot of the Hella Jelly (Jelly Rancher) in early veg, as a reference pt. for you.

5. I had to defoliate Titan's lower ring today. I can tell by the rise in heat and RH that she's firing on all flowering cylinders now, and since I installed the supports the buds are closer together. The lovely trick that is in store for these buds is, when they get to the point of being actual buds and really are subject to potential bud rot, the supports will be removed. Heh. She's plenty strong enough to hold up the branches, and they'll fall evenly against the side of the tent if they do, which is easily fixed. That will open the plant up when it needs it the most. Until that point, we keep her as she is to take full advantage of the highest ppfd available to her. Anyway, when I finished the defoliation down there I was suddenly looking at seemingly an entire plant (or at least an entire auto's) worth of buds! You gotta understand, before I installed the supports and raised up the ring, most of these buds were buried in the mess under the big colas. She was already a complete bud factory mutant, but now that I can see what's downstairs even me, the damn grower, is just like :jawdropper: I can't begin to imagine what this plant will yield. She is still building size on all the buds for god's sake. Then she has to turn into actual buds, and THEN we still have to go through the final fattening up stage at the end. I suck at self-guesstimating, but at this point, I am going to say she is significantly more, like a LOT more, than my original estimate of 7 ounces (tied with Chunkadelic for most yield ever from an auto). These buds are heavy and going to get heavier. They're dense. They're beginning to stink, a lot. Very fruity and dank. When you work the plant, your fingers smell like cotton candy. But she truly is just a mountain of bud, I can't believe how lucky I got. I think she's going to be more than a half pound auto. We'll see soon enough.

Thanks for listening to me blather and lie about the quickie update. Lol. Appreciate the latitude.

Hey @Bill284, guess who just stopped by?

Why, a most attractive young lady, who also happened to be a driver for UPS. She put a 13 pound box right in my lap. I thought it was my PB nutes, but I was very happily wrong. Instead, it was.....well, let's just say it was about five trillion times more stuff than I expected. Must be nice to be you! Lol. And now, it must be nice to be me!

THANK YOU SO MUCH SENSEI!!!!!!!!!

Dude, it's your thread. Blather away. Those of us that didn't enjoy it have long since gone. We've "cleaned the cupboard" if you will. I've learned a lot hangin' around here. :thumb:

Lol, thanks Azi, Yep, that's the advantage of having an opposable thumb, transistors, computers, and televisions - you compete with nobody for the clicker. If you don't like it or already have seen this one, you can always change the damn channel. HEH.

More smoke alarms and a couple of fire extinguishers I'm guessing! But don't tell me because of the rules. :thumb:
I won't! I just displayed the Art of the Anonymous Thank You! :cheesygrinsmiley::cheesygrinsmiley::laugh:

Shed I still won't but the funny part is that it's well within the rules, it was just the preference of the sender to keep it relatively low key. That particular sender would never break the rules in my experience. Not a Jon-level dumbass breach like that, no way. Nor would the receiver, I heard dude got a real sharply pointed reminder about the rules one time.

Happy birthday btw, my older brother would've been 57 in August.

Thanks Costanza, it's the 12th, a couple days yet. Would've. Sorry for your loss.

These were fun....

Gave her four buds and said she could pick two to keep. She looks pretty happy with her selection.
