lol...sorry Fishy where are my manners, how are you buddy:) ok so P is in the bloom nutes with BPN I can try upping them a bit and see what happens, Im in veg so I set ph at 5.5 and let it rise to 6.1 but ph has been sitting at around 5.8 steady for the last 2 weeks so I shouldnt have a P deff but it does look very simillar, thanks for the info Fishy:Namaste:

hi jon,

that looks exactly how mine look when i over water them, i know im growing in soil, but if i over water a plant it starts looking like that, or a pots drain holes are blocked and i water and it dont drain out then 24 hours later my plants start looking like yours, the leaves start to curl down like that and wrinkle slightly, then they start turning into like claws, once i clear the wholes and stop watering for a few days then they recover,

so the comment above about the change in system you use might be the cause, i know my grow is soil but looks pretty similar problem to me, fish cake may also be spot on so double check ph and if the dose was right with each nute then you should be ok with the nutes but lockout or not enough oxygen would be my guess,

could it be something as simple as the flow as stated above, could the flow be to high, they might just need to adjust to the new system, someone like jandre or alaskan1 would be worth asking, they seem very knowledgable when it comes to problems like this, its ok using problem charts but finding someone who has used that system and had that problem would be your best bet, i cant really give much advice as i only grow soil and a few dwc hempies,

hope thats some help to you, it might sort itself out as the plants adjust, i have grown clones in soil then washed the soil away to go into a dwc and my stems change colour like yours but i dont get the leaves wilting like that, ive only had that with over watered plants, in fact ive got one now thats over watered, let me check if it still looks the same, if it does ill take a pic and show you mine, not checked my plants today but ill go look now and if its still got leaves looking like yours then ill take a pic,

might help narrow the problem down,

as far as I know nobody here uses the same style system as mine and lack of o2 in the water is definetly not the issue bro, theres 2 6 inch stones in the res, that combined with the 24/7 circulation and the chiller circulating the res is plenty of o2 imo, I just recalibated my pen, its ready the solution right at 7 and 4 so I donthtink its that either but im bringing it with me to the hydroshop tomorrow to have them test it just incase.Im going to give 1/2 gph drippers a try again, I stopped using them because they get clogged easily but maybe it is the high flow, the exact same thing happened last round when I transplanted and then they just fixed themselves so it might be that simple.I cant wait to have a duplicate system for veg, then there will be no "getting used to the system phase):)

I do PC repair for a living and I really hate to see a reformat but just remember,back your shit up or at least save what you need.
Format is bad mkay?

nice find jon, that should help a lot of growers with that info, just make sure your ph pen is working properly then you know for sure what the issue is,

how come you need to format your pc mate, are you installing a newer version of windows or you been having problems,

you should try this software to fix your comp, Advanced SystemCare by iobit, its recomended in all the top computer mags, its a free software that fixes everything, much better than spybot or microsoft security essentials, its turned my laptop into better than it was when new, its fixes everything, broken links, registry problems, it removes all the crap old programs leave behind, when you uninstall software using windows a lot of programs leave behind crap in the registry which slows things down, this software removes all that stuff, its fixed all my moms laptop and sisters laptop, my sister was about to buy a new one then i ran that software on her laptop and she said its better than it was when new, it sorts the ram out to optimize the best settings for how you use the computer,

its way better than a lot of software you pay for, plus i can prodice product key for the advanced version which allows you to modify all internet settings so it speeds internet up loads, miwa was having problems with his comp and i sent him the link to that software and he says his computer is the best its ever been, the 1st time i used it it found 5000 problems, it also defrags better than windows defrag, now i run a test once a week and it finds the odd issue and fixes it,

might be worth giving a try if you have any problems, i build computers and repair them often, i fix games consoles and this new software i came across in one of the computer magazines really helped fix many problems different people was having,

No idea what that means bro but it worked.Now I just have to figure out how to get all my music pics and files back from the online back up I used, it seems to be alot harder than backing them up lol

Ive tried dozens of programs bro, I download movies everyday so over the last 3 years ive piced up alot of viruses.My comp was reeaaaallly slow and I decided to wipe it clean and start over, it worked like a charm and didnt cost me a dime, I just have to remember all my passwords and figure out how to get my files back now lol

well late to the punch but i was gonna say phos,& not likely the sys switch,then i remembered u sezzin u are using ro water, and i thought hmm that stuff has nothing in it to adjust, ph stuff needs some kind of catalyst to do its job like other minerals in the water,ol corey told me to always adjust ph after you have added all the rest of your goodies,but sounds like you got it all figgd:thumb:

I just used the ro system for the first time today bro, its been well water up until now, it does look like phos deff but im using bpn at full strength so it should have lots.Im going to get my ph meter checked tomorrow, maybe its out of wack and a lockout is the problem, im just not sure at this point...

jon I use RO water. and I personally hate using pH up or pH down its an unnecessary chemical that isn't good for your plants either. what I do is mix all my nutes in in a 5 gallon bucket starting with one gallon of water and I take a pH reading. after that I add water by the gallon until I get the pH level I want then mix all my water mixes at that level. then its only nutes and water that get delivered to the plants

I got cupping going on too. mine are just seedlings though , i was running the sprayers constant. i'm trying one hour on and one off to see if it helps. dont you just hate when this shit happens. it absoulutly drives me madd:scratchinghead:
