re: Jon705's Multi Strain HPS LED Hybrid System
im sure the bud gods are looking down on your grow and doing all they can to kick these plants back into life, their not done yet so their is a good chance that they will recover, they die pretty quick so if their not all wilting then chances are their just adjusting to the changes,
the bud gods are with you my friend
have your tried adjusting the water flow, the problem is now though that you wont know whats working and whats not, for instance say you adjust nutes or ph, then you wont know if its that thats made things better or just the plants settling in to their new environment,
it could be something as simple as transplant shock, when ive take plants our of a soil grow and washed the roots clean and put them in a hempie all the leaves wilted and i thought my 2 plants where doomed, ive been looking on all my memory cards to find the pics as i did show them to a mate who grew a long tme ago so i know i got the pics somewhere, but my plants was having similar problems, i was told it was because the soil grown plant was getting what it was used to, watered every few days with nutes, then the soil would dry out, so when i transplanted them into a dwc i thought it was game over, they struggled for about 7 days, i tried adjusting the air bubbles, res temp, lowered nute mixture and nothing helped, i was about to give up and all of a sudden the plants recovered, leaves started sticking outwards instead of sagging down, they looked just like they was dying,
imagine a plant grown then not water for a couple of weeks, my leaves looked like that, all wilted, the top of the stem wilted and started bending over, i nearly pulled them out, i even turned the air pumps off as i was going to pull the plants and bin them when the lights came back on, but when i got up the next day and opened the door the leaves where clearly looking much better, the red stems had got lighter, mine was more stripy than yours,
i really hope you get it figured out, i just dont know about the set up you use to comment, jandre or alaskan1 would be the best option mate, drop one of them a pm, im pretty sure they will tell you exactly what the problem is and what is needed to solve the problem, if you have not met jandre or alaskan1 then i can ask them to come over and have a look if you like, i think you posted all the info they might ask like temps, humidity, ppm's, ph etc, so as long as they can see that they should have all the info they need, also they might know more about ro water,
could i just ask why you use ro water, tap water is ok for plants as long as its been standing for at least 24 hours to evap chlorine and other chemicals out before giving to plants,
i really wish i could help you more, i am a member on this site and like to help where i can, ive got the help in the past so i like to pass on as much help as i can,
let us know how the plants are now looking, any signs of it getting worse or better,
