its just a cluster of trychs, this only happens with some strains and onply with led's as far as I know.

Just a quick question...
Could these be male pods like on female trying to self-pollenate. Pics 3 & 4 looks like there might be nanners in there, This normally only happens when you leave a few buds on to obtain pollen for getting seeds.

I realize there are more important things going on at this point in the journal, but I am just curious if anyone else might have the same thoughts

Thanks for your patience.

No nanners there bro, its a cluster of trychs, fairly common growing with led's, Buckshot gets them all the time with his genetics:)

Hello Everyone, I believe this will be a very very great news for all of you. I talked with my boss these days. and she checked area51's light. it has 300pcs LED, white and red only, half and half. they use CREE LED, CREE white is really very bright. so we do not think our 240x5w can compare with the light Jon is using. Boss decide to give Jon 2 240x5w to compare with one area 51, that is very fair, right? we are using Epistar, it is not as bright as CREE's white.

But we want all people here to tell us how you want to make the lights? do the same spectrum with area51? red and white only? or you have some other suggestions? we will make the light ASAP, then ship to Jon. thank u all .

I will be very appreciate if you can use easier English because it is hard for me to read sometimes. :):Namaste: have a great day .
Wow!!! now that I wasnt expecting Sara! I have to be honest with you though, I have the old model of Area 51 lights, they are 300 x 3w helios diodes and the actual draw is 595w. 1 of your 240 x 5w panels should outperform one of my lights but if you want to give me 2 of them I will gladly replace 2 of the 1000w hps in my room with them and do a proper side by side by side:)

Heres a few shots of wht I ve been upp to for the last week, I still have the front of the house left to cover and then install the new weeping tile and window wells then back fill and put the back deck back on the house but by the time im done this house will be 100% waterproof:)

Hot damn! You're not foolin' around with that, are you? I have foundation issues that I've been dreading, but I really don't want to face the project. Are you doing this yourself? Sheesh, full concrete coat, plus tar and waterseal, and drain tile. Nice!

Graytail approves - if yer gonna do it, do it right.

Really hope you kill it wil the Mars II. I just popped some beans last night so I'll be trying mine soon enough. Got Some Training Day, Purple LA, Sour Krypt, and Green Crack. Should be fun. :thumb:

yep myself and 3 workers, I used to do this for a living so its no big deal just alot of labor, I did rent a backhoe for most of the digging though, yep if your going to go through the trouble of digging it out might as well do it right, that blueskin is awesome stuff, once im done I wont have to worry about finishing my basement:)

I would love for these lights to have the same spectrums in the same amounts as the Area 51 lights Sara, they are proven to work well and I have friends that are very interested in these lights with those spectrums. Once they see my results it wont be long before you start getting more orders ourtside of 420 Magazine. I was looking at the power draw on your website and I understand that you cant run the diodes full power because they will overheat the equipment and not last as long but your only running them at half power, could you make them 750w actual draw? would that be to much heat for the unit?

Wooo Hooo - fantastic decision, Sara.

I could not be happier.

Personally I'd like to see a split spectrum vs the red\white full spectrum. Both seem to work so far as I can tell and there are a lot of people convinced that one or the other is better. The more I learn about this the more inclined I am to just build my own damn light. With a mix of Neutral White and Warm White you hit all the ranges and then the red works sort of as a bloom booster.

Also, just throwing this out there the Cree A19 white bulbs appear to be very viable in the grow room and pretty cost effective too. Look great for cuttings, side lighting, maybe filling in some spectrums...that kinda stuff.

bananas look exactly like little bananas and are not fluffy like the pistils are, plus if you see bananas on the buds then you have a high chance of finding male pollen sacs at the nodes, these are usually hidden just where the buds join the stem their on, but the pics dont look like bananas it just looks like a mass of pistils which as mentioned above happen when using led's, ive just seen some in another journal as well but not as many as it looks like you got, so if it looks like a tuft of white hair then i wouldnt worry about it, but if its a tiny yellow banana poking out the bud then its a sign its going hermie, but to me id say its not hermie its just a mass of pistils,
