Little Thursday update, where I transplant the Jack Herer from @Weed Seeds Express on day 20!
It was looking kinda droopy and it needed water almost every 24 hours, so it was time to move to a 1 gallon pot. Here is the droop:

I buried it to the cotyledons and took off the first node. Then I put it in the shade to try to lesson some of the transplant stress. It seems to be working for the others I've done, so I'll stick with it.
As I mentioned yesterday, last night was time to take the Red Dragon off the lines in the drying box. I put on the Olympics and sat on the floor of the living room and cut the buds off the branches into a single turkey roasting bag, along with three hygrometers in different places to get an idea where they would settle. They were all at 59% RH.
So I left the bag on the patio all night because that's when it gets really humid in my neighborhood (in the 90% range). When I brought them in this morning the meters read 70% (they were right up against the inside of the plastic bag).
Turkey roasting bags are not, as I have mentioned, air tight!
I'm sure all the buds didn't get that damp, but it did serve the purpose of raising the RH so I can burp it down over the next two weeks. I split them into three bags for burping:

Hi Shed! I have a question for you. I saw the horrible damage to @BeezLuiz plant by caterpillars and the talk about starting to spray. So, in July when I had a few larder moths in the tent I put bay leaves in the cabinet and on top of the pots and they went away. At that time I also put 3 leaves into a half gallon of water and it’s been steeping for over a month (it smells delicious). I’m thinking of spraying one of the outdoor plants with it but Im not sure what the best “strategy” is for trying something like that. Any suggestions? 
That is good to know. I have a number of jars that the r/h is to low and I’ve been contemplating different methods to get it back up some.

I would like the burping process to start in the high 60s (definitely not in the 50s ever) so I can burp down to 62% RH. That's the end of the burping process, and then they get sealed for the cure at 62%.
Nowhere is really dry as lowest our RH goes is 50% (unless the Santa Ana winds are blowing through...then we're in the teens). I put them in a closet and take them out to burp them for about 10 minutes twice a day for a week, then once a day for another week. Then into jars.
I would just spray the plants like I would any other spray...first thing in the morning before the sun is on them, or late afternoon. I don't know if it works as well in the open air but I guess it's worth a try. First time you notice it doesn't work though...move on to the deadly stuff.
Doesn't work all that well in jars because the glass isn't permeable, so only the top is open to the damp. I usually just drop in a lemon wedge to get the RH up in a jar and seal it up for a few hours.

I bet! Also, I'm finding different brand turkey bags have different, what's the word for it, poursity? That's it I think. One of mine lets moisture right through and another much slower. Just to throw us a curve I think. That's where a good bucket come in for them regardless. But you know.

They went into peat on Monday evening, so this would be four and a half days. Not quick, but looking like they're jumping another hurdle along the way to proof of viability.
