Almost always. But this wasn't even a compact area so I don't know why it cropped up. It is one of the downsides of growing where I am, but I've never seen it this early. I wonder if it's a susceptible strain.
I love squirrel soup! I shot 23 red / gray squirrels at the cottage last fall made a deadly soup!

Crock pot stew is my favorite way to cook squirrel. It's about the only way to make it tender
They would probably flag it for Bioworks lol
I made a blueberry bbq sauce out of some of our wild blueberries up north and cooked them on the campfire the glazed them with the bbq sauce! Oh man we’re they ever good! Wish I had canna oil to make the blueberry sauce with would of sent it to the next level!
