InTheShed Grows Inside & Out: Jump In Any Time

Tuesday's newsday is back here if you missed it.

plants are looking great Shed almost time to chop by the looks of things
Thanks Con! I hope there's still some bulking left to do. 🤞
Put's me in mind of a Wendy's order Shed. Two large Frosties and one small Frosty.
I'll pay!
Wow Shed those girls are beautiful. Now that's some bud porn. I may have to excuse myself and hit the bathroom.
LOL! Thanks RR. :)
Great work Shed some floppy out do weed once they flip they don't stop looks like a firework show you know when the box of rockets catches fire
the Mind Melter I murdered flopped mainly because I kept moving her then wouldn't stop
A firework show is the goal, like Guy Fawkes Day all summer! I always like the flop because it means the tops are getting heavy. It also could mean the branches are weak but that's not my take. ;)

Highya ITS,

Really nice looking buds on your two outdoor ladies!! I think I finally get training outdoors (in the ground) like you guys that grow inside. Love the shape of those girls. Nice to look at all those huge buds!! Oh, are the amber trichomes at about 5%? Just wondering when your comfortable with harvesting, or does it even depend on the trikes? We're having a great summer for growing also! Happy Smokin'

They just get a little prettier (and a little fatter) every day, Shed!

and that little gal redefines "nothin' but bud"....😄👍

Question for you, Shed- When you schlep your girls out in the morning, do you position them with the same side facing the sun every day, or do you rotate them occasionally (or every day?)

Girls looks great Shed!

I'm using the newest MC, V 2817148272648. You know the issues I've always had and so far with this version....it's my best MC grow yet. May be worth trying. If not, the Shed formula GH ilseems to.be on point!!! And it's cheap:)

Tim, I hear that v 2817148272649 is going to be the bomb! :Rasta:

I may stock up on this version...IF its still available :)
There was a post a few days ago on Greenleaf’s IG page, offering free product (not sure if still active) assuming it’s the new formula.
I’m trying out their 2 part for the first time, they sent a 400g bag of each!

Me too, arriving saturday. my last bag has been opened to the air for years and has become liquid. lol

Than you Bode! I don't count amber trichomes outside as part of the harvest timing, since the sun will amber the trichs just because it can. It's more important to look at clear vs cloudy, though I really use thirst as the biggest factor in deciding when to chop.

These two are drinking more slowly than I'm used to at this stage, but they're also smaller than my previous plants so there's that.

Thanks Carcass, and I can't find any stems on that Wizard auto!

Even though the sun moves across the sky all day, I do try to make sure the handles are in a different position from how they are when I place them, just to make sure there's some sense of fairness. :)
Buds are looking Good shed even the single Wizard small but yea it still shines !
Thank you sb, and I'm really looking forward to see how much it weighs!

LOL! There are a few different brands I can get close to the same numbers on (and a few I can't), so I'm glad both are working for you.

You never know when their version odometer is gonna roll over to a new number. ;)

Thanks for the info! I somehow thought the 2-part system was designed for hydro but I can't remember now.

It definitely turns into a fudge consistency over time. I keep my main stock in an airtight 2 gallon bucket with a DampRid container, and that stuff looks the same as when I got it 5 years ago. My daily supply is in a jar, and the constant opening and closing renders the last few ounces unusable.

It’s saying it works for everything..had me laughing at myself for a second for not checking.

Same here I have my main bag in an airtight styrofoam container and it’s still powder after 2 years.
I take out a few cups at a time and put them in a plastic container where they promptly turn liquid over several weeks, even in 50% rh

That's where I'm at.
Give it to me straight Doc. How long do I have?
Har! How long do you need?

Oh that's good.

Several weeks? Might want to check the airtightness of that plastic container. I keep mine in a glass jar with saran wrap to help seal the lid, and mine lasts a good 5-6 months with RH mostly over 60% outside. A Bell jar would probably be even better.

Over at Sauga's place I was getting some good vibes. I come over here and words like "unusable" are getting thrown around.
He's Canadian eh?
How unusable?
Not completely, but I'm not running out of nutes. If you don't mind working with mushy lumps of stuff that smell like the floor of a barn, I'm sure it will work fine. What you will need to do is try to factor in the additional weight the water brings to the mush, because I'm also sure that 10g of wet MC has less MC than 10g of dry MC.

If you've had yours a while and it's not mush yet, then all's good. Just keep it out of the London fog. :thumb:

I can live with that. I don't mind being the MegaCrop canary and will continue to use the "mush" until it is "unusable" :thumb:

Thanks, Shed! I asked because I decided to keep the Forbidden Fruit facing the same direction (as if she were in the ground) just to see how she grew...I usually rotate them...maybe I can blame that for the yellowing....😁

I thought I was reading a sales brochure for a minute there...👍

I suppose that however it smells, it smells better than the ham hocks composting in your backyard!

Are you talking about the yellowing in this post? ↓↓↓
She looks yellower with the sun behind her...she's not really too bad...
That's nothing!
I thought was reading a sales brochure for a minute there.
Yeah I missed my calling in Marketing. :)

That's nothing!
Ha! It's becoming something...
I gave her @Derbybud 's root coring treatment yesterday to see if it might help- poked about 60 holes in the SIP soil....seemed fairly compacted, so we'll see.... 👀
