I don't think she will go too much longer. I see a second little push coming. Let her go another 10 days or so. Probably can take it in week 8.

Thanks Them, I'm getting that feeling! And I'm also thinking of doing a very light trim on it as it seems most of what's smokeable on this plant would be cut off a different one.
Yeah maybe trim it up good, and leave the buds for blazing and the trim for edible topical? Suppose it depends on your stock pile... if your set then sure leaf them alone
I think you really need to lollipop earlier in flower to get a lot of benefit from it.

I lollipopped just before I flipped and there was hardly any stretch. This was flip day before and after:

That looks great actually, your flowers look similar to the Labyrinth. Just dainty flowers but bulked up the last 2 weeks. Your AK has some serious trichs going on.

That's for sure Penny! I was trimming some underbud early this week and it was so sticky I could barely get my fingers apart
. Maybe I'll slam it with some high PK nutes for a week and see what happens. Today I went easy on the TDS and got the runoff down closer to even. Perhaps that's been the wrong approach!
well ... you are kinda right ... it IS hard to see the calyxes through all them huge trich heads
on the not stretching thingy ... a heavy trim can stop a plant dead in its tracks for several days ... i dunno 10 days seems long ...

Lots of growers do a heavy defol just before flipping. And a few days would have been 47 days ago now anyway! 10 days seems long for what?
Could be, though the pics of this strain look pretty dense. Of course, none of those pics are outside in winter. Also, the guy I got these clones from was handing out buds from his original grow and they seemed pretty fluffy. I thought it was only because he was a shite grower but now I'm wondering if it was the genetics as well...
Yea if your growing close to the plants genetic potential then it’s just genetic traits showing through

Thanks PW, that makes me feel a bit better. I got nervous there as this is my first ever photo
. I'm pretty sure I'm going to let almost everything with trichomes dry on the buds. This plant is for smoking rather than oils.
It’ll be some really nice looking buds as a bonus!

Oh this plant is so sticky! And I'm going to bump the Open Sesame next water along with the Terpinator (which I've been on the lower end of) to see how I can finish this out.
