In The Lab

Tea is a product derived exclusively from natural humates. These deposits are LOADED with beneficials and of course humic acids and other fractured polyhydroxy acids....all naturally occurring.

Tea is named "tea" because it works just like a brewed compost/worm tea, except better because:

1. no pathogens possible
2. humic acid
3. uniform consistency so it works with fertigation and Dosatrons, etc.
4. Requires no brewing and no extra work
5. Has more beneficials in it than anything I've seen or worked with before

We use it to keep the microbial populations high and the humic acid helps with all kinds of things.

Can the Tea be beneficial to a non kit plant?

Right on!

What do I need to know about Black Cherry Float? Any tips?

For sure :)

Black Cherry float seems to be more indica dom in terms of growth rate and structure so it will grow at a slower rate than most sativa doms in veg, and the stretch will be minimal. There is a more indica dom pheno which is less branchy, and one that takes after the black cherry soda that has more branching. Node distance seems good, not too spread like an OG, but not too compact like a straight indica either.

There seems to be 2 flavor/scent profiles so far. One is more of a skunky rotted fruit smell, and the other is more of a just dank og heavy smell/flavor which a bit of berry.

Here are a few pics from someone who uses your kit, an old 420 member. I will leave his name out of the public forum but if you want to know who it is to ask questions, email or pm me and I'm sure he would be happy to answer any questions as he ran it in your soil under "blurple" leds.

Here are a few pics.

Yes! It's one of 3 products that can be used by any organic/biological grower: Roots!, Tea and Snake Oil. Snake Oil is a great source of micro's and will work---- if used sparingly----- on any plant.

Tea can be sprayed on a vacant lot and things will start to bloom in a couple months.

Hey Doc, what products do you use when cloning? I know of misting with 1/2 strength DeStress every other day but other than that, what do you soak cuttings in prior to putting into rooting media? And can any products be used in my ez cloner for helping roots initiate?

You can get rooting hormone from Walmart or nursery, or any growing supplier. Like $8
Not really necessary though.

I have used clonex in the past but now I use aloe powder instead to be all organic. Trying to not use any chemicals on these gals!

I used straight water in my cloner, they all root

You using one of those mister cloners right? How you liking that thing? Seems pretty simple if you don't have to change the water all the time. I use Rapid Rooters and Clonex, but I was thinking the misting cloner would be easier, give me your thoughts.

I use root riot or rapid rooter plugs and clonex gel in a small cloning dome. Super easy and works every time. I think in the last 2 years I've only tossed 2 clones, and even those 2 rooted. They were just a little slower and I needed room so I tossed them. That's out of prob 50+ clones.

that's what I use too. I'm not sure it's the "best" way, but it works consistently. Are you getting green slime on top of the cubes?

I have, but not typically. When I have, it hasn't affected the plants in any noticeable way. Once the roots poke out, they still go right into a 1 gal pot and thrive.

I use them as well without seeing any slime. I sit the plugs in a cup on top of hydroton so that the plug is never sitting directly in water so that it won't stay saturated, then I bag the whole thing. Using the gel from a freshly cut aloe fillet will work as well if you're wanting to remove cloneX from your repertoire.

That's my method too and yes I'll get some green slime if they take more than 10 days to root. You say you get roots in 5 days....mine usually root in 10-15 days for some reason. Usually right about the time I'm about to give up they root. I spray 1/2 strength destress every other day....should that be more or less often?

Spray the "mother" plant with DeStress 2 days before cloning/pruning.

Use the heat mat under the clone tray and lightly mist with 1/2 strength DeStress every other day. Fast rooting clones root in 5 days, slow ones can take up to 10, but most of them have nice white tails by 10 days.

Good afternoon. A quick question before I drench. I have a young clone cutting about to get the very first drench. When potted the pot was drenched with TransWater (1/4 Trans), so this will be the first official drench. What do you recommend I start with Doc, Trans or Energy?
