So here is what the new models will be called...there is no difference in product, same exact product, just changed the name to the actual draws instead of the "max draw" if the panel was run at top wattage. (no panels run at this or they wouldn't last).


135W became the 90W (Single Module) <This is the one that Jandre's new journal will be using
270W became the 180W (2 Module) <these are the ones I am using
405W became the 270W (3 Module) <This is the one that Jandre was using
540W became the 360W (4 Module)
810W became the 540W (6 Module) <This is the one that Graytail is using
1350W became the 900W (10 Module)

WOW a big thumbs up for that change.
Hopefully this will push all the MFG to AT least list both specs so you know how hard the diodes are being pushed (lifespan), power usage (for the cost AND wiring safety), and add the true PAR, to keep buyer's informed.
I wouldn't buy ANY without those sorts of specs to compare and wouldn't recommend any that the shipping product didn't meet or exceed the posted specs.
The LED-growlight industry is maturing and it's time to push the knock-off/fly by nights out of business.

Good stuff brotha....hope you make/beat your harvest. May not be most important factor to you but extremely helpful to the community to understand. LEDs are very intriguing for me as I intentionally went with cheap lights my first grow until I know more for that sort of $$$. LEDs are high up on my upgrade options list with their heat management and power savings but don't want to give up any yield or quality...Great journal! Got caught up on your others as well. Thanks buddy.

Thanks Koncept.... Stick around 420 Magazine and you will be growing stuff like me in no time :) Its pretty easy when you have all the experienced members here to help... About 4 years ago I knew absolutely nothing about growing, and now you can see I've got it down fairly well :) your in the right place...

I agree... I think it was a very smart move on Intelligent Gro's part to be the trendsetter instead of the follower :) Its shows they are about giving good truthful info instead of loading their ads with misleading claims :) I think its good and hope other companies follow suit. I agree, there is enough competition now that only the good will survive.

Thanks Dataudio :) I appreciate that :) Yeah I hope to hit my harvest goal...not really for any other reason than to prove that LED can grow great yields :) so I got my green thumbs crossed :) Its taken LED a while to get to where they are at, but now they are at the point they are only going to get better and better :) I definitely see LED being the future of growing :)

Not sure without doing the same thing you would have to do unfortunately is just search around and hope to get lucky. It was the same for me getting Grandaddy purple and took me almost 2 years to find the real deal cut.... I would suggest these places...

Look on Budtradr..craigslist..weedmap.. and generally this is where I have found clones. Just be careful if you end up getting something off CL or Budtradr because you are dealing with random people... so just use caution if you find a supplier on those sources. Check weedmapz too because they do list some clones at local dispensaries...their format of their site is a pain to use, but I have managed to find some locallly in HB...

arriving late but never the less still seems to be lots to learn from here. just started a cabinet grow with an Toplight LED so always looking for more tips and pointers. Looks like a V-scrog might be in my future. this all looks great. thanks for the show.

I hear ya, after studying this for a while, no doubt this is the place to be.. I have a family member who lives in another state, I grew up with him and he has always grown since I can remember, so I called him to get some advice on setting up my grow.. I was met with don't waste your time, you cant do it.. Its too expensive yada yada yada.. So after talking with him for a few minutes I started to ask him questions.. Questions about lighting, environment, PH, Soil, Nutes.. Honestly I was shocked.. It seemed he knew almost NOTHING! Then I asked about what he thought about LED, he just started laughing... So THEN I asked him what did he use and how he did it.. He uses HID and HPS for lighting 1000watters, I asked what size pots did he use? He uses 1gal all the way from veg to flower and yields very little "I wonder why" I asked about Hibrix.. Response "hugh?" So then I asked about soil, he uses Happy frog and just tosses everything out at each cycle and starts from scratch.. Sounds like a big waste of money to me.. He Also veg's @24x0 and flowers 12x12.. I told him the secret that served me best my entire life.. I told him smart people learn from their own mistakes...

But the smartest people learn not only from their own mistake, but from others as well.. I told him to drop by so he could learn how to actually increase his yield, but you know how hard it is to open up a rock cave lol..

That's why I love this site, people aren't afraid to ASK questions and also not afraid to ANSWER them as well!! Thanks to the fine peeps here im sure with your help I will beat my cousin hands down with my 1st grow most likely lol..

We must have the same friend...LOL... Yeah I have the same type of responses from people.. or I love this one "you can't learn how to grow pot on the internet" LOL ok...... I love the 420 community and so many wonderful people here :)

LOL!! he did say that too! omg you must know him too... He is hard headed as fook! and wont listen to anyone or anything lol.. And yet he brags about yielding a few grams per plant lol.. I was like WTF? :welldone: lol.... I know if he DARED to turn on a computer and see your Scrog he would probably call photoshop lol...

Looking very nice Sir Icemud, lots of great info here as well. You said your picture of the 1000w HPS looks about the same as the LED at this time frame, can you post those so we can see? Thanks for your time you spend here helping us and I'm loving the video updates.

Hey Everyone... I hope all of you had a good holiday weekend.

Here is the update for day 34 flowering...

Not much has gone on since last update, I have been giving the girls 2-3 cups of water daily and this week I have had a soil compost tea brewing, which is just some of my premixed soil, bubbled in a bucket. I noticed the girls have a slight bit of leaf curling so I have been trying to just give them water without nutrients to let them use what is in the soil.

So far everything is looking great and the buds seem to be getting to the next stage of development and slowly fattening up. Overall its just a waiting game at this point and still probably have at least a month to go :)
