Looks amazing in there Ice you see all the pistils having a blast looks like you will have some incredible buds broda. Looking forward to see the harvest

Thank you so much!!! yeah they are getting so heavy now that the stems are starting to fall over, which is a great problem to have

I will be adjusting the placement of some of them tomorrow when the lights come on to space things out and help them get more even light

I posted this idea on several others' threads.

Maybe one day we can see a 'Top Chef' like grow- where you, Doc, Curso, SGA, Graytail, etc., "The Fellowship Of the HB Kit", all grow the same plant, preferably from seed, at same time, and we see the Masters do their thing.



It would be awesome!

Now thats a reality show I would watch.

That's kinda what I was thinking too.. I was thinking summer would need to vent out, but come winter, I might have to vent back into the room to keep temps up.. Best thing for me to do is GET STARTED and see what will work best. I just need more of my ebay auctions to close so I can get the money I need for my 3x5 tent and I should almost be set.. That and figuring out the best way to run the venting in and out of the room lol.. I was thinking of hooking up a 12" - 8" Y into the ceiling to plumb all the exhaust into.. Then the intake would be pretty simple.. I love the roof exhaust, none of my neighbors even know its running or can hear anything lol.. Then if I run the intakes from the wall in a stealth way I should be all set. I just don't want my neighbors to think I have jet engines running all night..

So far I have the High Brix kit here, going to be cooking here hopefully today if I can get a ride to the store lol.. My damn Neurologist took my drivers license, not that I should drive anyway lol.. Even in my current condition I am confident I could still outdrive 90% of US Citizens, either on a road or on a track.. But Epilepsy sucks! And one day we will create a strain that can cure it!!!

Those girls look SEXY!!!!!!!! cant wait to see them even a little more PLUMP!

If your temps only get down to ~40s I think you should be fine if you do a couple things to help yourself out. I grew in a garage in the north east in an insulated room inside of the garage. It got much colder there then the 40s. Once it got cold I would only run my exhaust to the outside for about a minute at a time maybe even less a few times an hour. You can set this up with a digital timer. Or you can just run the exhaust back into your containing room like Ice suggested but it would be good to get at least some fresh air in there if you can. I also had to run a space heater for when the lights were not on, it might of ran some even when it was on depending on the outside temps it was all temp controlled. I used a normal space heater along with a Lux Win100 controller to only turn the heater on when needed and then it cut it back off once it was back up to acceptable temp. Hopefully if you only exhaust a small amount out of the outer room the incoming air will buffer with the warmer air coming out of your tents so its not to cold going into your tents. I would not exhaust to the outside while the lights are off if its that cold unless your only doing it for small amounts at a time like I did. I think your plan of running everything through your roof vent during normal temps is perfect, I wish I had something like that. All my exhaust air just goes into my house so I have to keep it scrubbed very well, my wife has a super nose and can't stand the smell of bud. Also I have to keep the door open in the room the tents are in. These new houses only have a single return for the AC so if you keep a door closed the air doesn't work right in that room and it gets to hot in a hurry with the lights and everything running.

Also you really really should try out harliquen or charlets web or one of the other really high cbd strains specifically created for your condition. They are supposed to be magic for epilepsy from what I have read / seen on tv.

Great Advice to pour over for sure.. I even thought of installing passive wall vents with spring loaded dampers as intakes for the room when it had to exhaust the heat out.. That way when the exhaust fan kicked on, it would pull fresh air into the room, not the tents, and then have a chance to warm up a bit before entering the tents.. So many different ways to do it lol.. It seriously has me spinning..

I just remembered that a few days ago..maybe a week ago...oops I forgot someone had asked me to post the photos of my past HID V-Scrogs with 1000w of HID, and then show a side by side of the 540w of LED with Intelligent Gro...All photos were taken on day 39 of the flowering cycle from the flip to 12/12

All 3 HID grows were grown with 1000w of HID.... mostly a 400w CMH + 600w Ushio Optired

And here is only 540W of Intelligent Gro LED in the same setup...

Obviously they are different strains I am growing in each photo, however if you look at the size of the buds, the fullness of the cola's, the fullness of the scrog screen they are almost identical, matter of fact it looks like the LED might even have the edge as far as girth...

But i figured this gives a pretty good visual comparison to what these lights are capable of using only half of the 1000w of HID I had in the past... Pretty cool

I cant wait to start and have you guys help my noob ass along the way, because of peeps like you Ice and the gang at 420Mag that inspire people instead of discourage and educate and help along the way... yes CBD's are good to combat it, but for me, the THC stops the triggers as well.. mine can be triggered by allot of things including sound, like a low lying helicopter's noise frequency can fack me up good, my brain stars going with the beat of the rotor.. That's why I LOVE strains like SFV, GSC, those 2 in particular seem to work REALLY well, for the CBD, the fack cancer is really good, but the lack of THC makes me have to use more.. Where like some really good SFV can keep me in check..

Time to medicate! and meditate lol.. join meh!

Glad you were able to figure out what strains work best for you! Hopefully your highbrix buds will be even better in a few months

It's funny how different people need different canabanoids to fix what appears to be the same problem. One of my dogs has seizures so I did some research and everything I read said thc can trigger them and cbd is the best to help with them. Clearly this is not a one size fits all kinda thing and there is lots more for us to understand about canabanoid deficiencies and ways to determine what you are deficient in so you can take the right things in the correct amounts for maximum relief.

Thanks Brother! you know what is funny is my racing caused the epilepsy that in turned caused my TBI, that and neck and spinal trauma left me with almost no feeling in my feet.. But in turn the epilepsy has now caused me to have CFS, as I still have seizures, and my brain doesn't switch between alpha and beta, so when I sleep my brain just fires away and makes my muscles think I am awake, so its hard for me to get rest.. In turn all of this has caused me to have severe depression and anger, as I can no longer ride or race, and honestly the only time I ever felt free and total bliss was racing and instructing and doing track days with friends or hitting my favorite canyon at 5:30am in between the above, and before that I did extreme snowboarding and surfed since the age of 12.. I love the Sierra Mountain Range, have capped many a mountain top in my time.. I know what its like to be alive, I know what its like to almost die.. I have seen both sides of the spectrum, and cannabis definitely helps me get by for sure, I wont let the depression ever win. I am thank full to be here and be alive and be able to see my kids and to pass on what I know to them.. I showed them from a young age fear is never an option, its a weapon wielded against you, to stop you from trying.. I never give up hope of getting better one day, or one day being able to hop on a race bike and a warm set of rubber and hit the track with some friends.. But even if I don't , doesn't matter, I can always reflect back on what it was like, close my eyes and remember what the g forces felt like of my Graves Prepped R1 and my friends and I would do flying laps sliding the bikes all over the track .. Keep on keeping on...

Hey everyone!! quick time warp....woooshhh.... its day 41 of flowering..

I made a mistake somehow in my counting so I was actually 2 days behind in what I was reporting...oops I think it is due to my plant daylight being split between 2 days..

Anyhow I did a little cleanup of the plants under the canopy today before lights off, pretty much just removing any old/dead leaves and any "wanna be" buds and branches that were still trying to flower..

I noticed my harlequin is doing quite a bit of discoloring in the leaves and not taking up as much moisture so I am going to let her be with the waterings until the soil drys out more...

All the other plants are sucking up water equally and are thirsty daily..

Yesterday I gave them a foliar spray of bloomit, (very low concentration this time), carboload, cold pressed seaweed and yucca extract, even though I probably shouldn't have I wanted to give them one last spray for the remaining final stretch..

Here are the photos for tonight right after the lights turned off.

That was me Icemud, and it was only 5 days ago. lol. I'm digging the info you guys are giving KOncept, I've been thinking on this subject of atmosphere for at least 6 months, it will drive you crazy until you finally get a setup going, which I have not yet but I have thought through several different setups from bedrooms to non heated garages.
Hey Icemud, when you were running HID's and you were able to cool the lights with fresh air what was the temp in your tent and what was the temp with the three LED's. Also how much did the three LED's cost compared to the two HID's.
That was a cool comparison between the two different lights. Thanks a lot Icemud for sharing your time.
