No problem :) I just use it to compare my grows since my tent and grow medium doesn't really change much it gives me just a "guide" as to how the grow turned out in terms of yield. Even though many many variables can effect the outcome, it still gives a good indicator how successful a grow was :)

I've heard a lot about those Boveda packs so I may have to give them a go next run. This is the first time I ever had this happen but a lot of it was due to my over rushing and not being patient. I'm just overall happy that it was only 2 jars and I still have 4 more :)

Yea its very challenging to get the pic just right with the lupe, and camera, holding it steady and being able to press the capture button. I think I need to invest in a USB microscope soon :)

Its definitely a let down, mostly on this grow because I was so excited to compare the different phenotypes and flavors and effects but I guess I will have to wait until this next harvest to do so. At least I narrowed my phenotypes of the tangie down to 5, 4 will be flowering this round.

I may do some research into if you can have BHO or wax blown from moldy buds without any ill effects, because I have a friend who does it. Definitely not cooking with it or smoking it but maybe extract may be a viable solution. not sure... will have to see what can be done if anything.

Well I guess its better to happen now than if I ever expand my grows to a larger scale... at least 2 jars isn't a horrible loss.. about 4oz total.

Yep my GPW is definitely increasing. Im really curious to see how these budmasters do in the next 2 grows. i have a feeling I am going to be very pleased :)

I will definitely have to give the Boveda packs a run on my next harvest. At least I know now not to rush the most vital part of the process... yikes :)

Update time :)


Budmaster GOD (purple light tent):
Well I have decided that today will be the last day of veg for the GOD tent (Purple light). I took some time cleaning up many of the small branches and leaves on the undersides of the plants, sort of a mild lolipopping. (after photos were taken) I wanted to get rid of all the branches that will never develop into anything and give more energy to the upper portions of the plant.

I also fed them a compost tea which was derived from a bag of premixed and cooked soil, dunked in r/o water and bubbled. I also added:

humic acid
equillibrium (1-1-2) 12%Ca/2%Mg
deuce deuce (potassium sulfate)
catalyst
and earth juice grow

I noticed a slight Mg deficiency and a K deficiency so I wanted to bump up the microlife as well as add these 2 nutrients to the mix, and they are all natural mostly derived from rocks so cool with that :)

I will be setting the timer for 12/12 as of today, so tomorrow will be day 1 of flowering :) excited to see them perform :)

The veg/Budmaster COB (white light) tent...

This tent is looking good so far and the girls are still growing but also showing a slight Mg and K deficiency so I also gave them some of the compost tea. Other than that 2 days ago I lowered the COB lights to give a little more intensity to the young plants and hopefully accelerate growth :)

If you are wondering what the 2 milk jugs are, they are CO2 jugs made with water, yeast and sugar, with a small hole poked in the cap. Each jug gives about 2 weeks of co2 and then needs to be rid of 80% of the water, and sugar and fresh water added back in. Pretty cheap co2 addition. I doubt they really push a ton of co2, but any added is better than none :) I know CO2 falls and I should have them attached to hoses up top, but since the way I have the tent setup with incomming air at the bottom I believe that eventually it will get sucked upwards towards the leaves. :)

Looking great my friend! Are you changing up your training? Just the veg girls look like your doing maybe more then norm? Or I'm to high on me own meds lol.
I'm actually spoiling my auto girl with a mix, one god one cob :)

I've actually gotten a little lazier on the training, so I pretty much veg the girls until there about 15" tall from the top of the soil, and have some nice side branching started, then I just cut the top off, as low as I can go without removing too many side branches. Then I just let them grow. The girls in the COB tent I did this method with. Depending on how they grow together and branch out I may crop them I more time, where I take all tops off, and cut them about 2-3 nodes down which usually will increase the amount of tops to 2-3 per top cut. This is what you see in the flowering (GOD) tent, where they look like bushes. I just keep trimming them back almost like you would with a hedge in your front yard. :)

The girls are definitely taking off :) very excited to see how well they do this round under the COB's from start. I probably could be running the panels at 1/2 power but I figured why not go full blast from the gettyup :)

I can't wait though until both these grows are over, because I really want to make combo panels with the budmasters, since both my GOD's and COB's are 2x2 module, I want to do one each light 2x COB and 2x GOD panels. I think that would be the shizzle!

Thanks ShiggityFlip! Yep, the perpetual is in motion :) I'm hoping that the current flowering tent will help me narrow the tangies down to just 2 phenos, so far I really like #3 :)

Also excited to see these new strains flower since I haven't yet run them fully. (area 51, black diamond Og, fire og). The fire Og stinks so much already I know its going to be a killer :) Been a while since I've had a good OG in my tent.

Some seem to only like sativas and I totally get that. I'm a guy that likes whatever is in front of me. Haha well maybe I really mean to say I like an indica buzz sometimes and a sativa bud others. An OG is definitely always welcome.

Haha (blushing) Thanks Shawnee! I so far am really impressed with the Budmasters :) definitely one of the better panels I've used thus far :)
