Well hopefully when I finally get my project going I will have enough seeds to trade with others :) I do have some seeds already that I've traded with some past members I have yet to pop :)

I could see how it would be dangerous for people to just send any old seed to exchange for good seeds though so maybe it should be a private club that only trusted people could join. But I think it could work one day.

That's true, it would be hard to regulate the quality unless it was just known underground breeders.

I'm still seeking a real deal cut of grand daddy purple, the norcal original, not the "kens" version. can't find it anywhere. man I miss that strain, such an unbelievable taste :)

Trading seeds and clones is not illegal in Washington for mmj patients. However there are a lot of knuckleheads out there i'd rather not associate with It's completely within the law but most won't share our even sale their elite cuts. I'm completely the opposite. If i had seeds or a clone that any of my patients or other providers wanted, I'd give it to them.

What's the scene like in CO?

I'm in Cali and its fairly open here for most genetics, most growers will share except for those super rare strains that nobody gets and they keep under wraps. Most strains eventually make it around the area after a year or so of hitting the scene in clone. For instance, when Girl Scout cookies hit the scene the clones were very hard to get and if you were lucky enough to find them they were very high priced (about 30$ per cut) but after a couple years now they are a dime a dozen and you can pretty much get that anywhere from craigsLst to budtrader and other marketplace sites. Certain strains though like soul assasin og (cypress hill's strain) are still very rare, even though I do know a grower that has them. Norcal is a little different that socal though, socal seems to be more open to trading gentics where norcal seems to keep it local for the most part.

I'm the same way, I will take cuts of most of my genetics for others, especially my harlequin (high CBD) for anyone who needs them for medical use. I do hold on to my black cherry soda though since its pretty rare, that one I may not be as free to share..LOL :)

Yeah that is all I can find too commercially available, is Ken's cut. I've read conflicting info but it seems that the GDP that originated was not Kens cut, as Ken announces his hit the scene in 2003 and I know I was getting GDP in 2001... hmm

Hopefully I will be able to make seeds of it soon. Eventually I want to use it to cross with my other strains to make a fuller cannabinoid profile :)
