Re: Icemud LED Grow Featuring The All New Budmaster COB Technology - White Full Spect
Hey Arteekay! Yea I have tried all kinds of drying methods and since I have so many harvested at 1x, I just cut their stalk and hung them upside down. I've done wet trimming, and budwashing, and all kinds of methods and only done the drying with leaves 1 other time, but it turned out really nice so I decided to leave the fan leaves on. I will pull them off once the buds are dry and ready for jarring as well as trim/manicure them
Drying and curing I think is one of the most difficult things for me to get right, and I am still working on perfecting it to balance bag appeal and smoothness. My favorite is to jar the buds slightly moist and slowly burp out the last 10% or so of moisture, as it makes for really tasty buds, but also the buds dull in color and aren't as ascetically bright looking, as they are when drying them fully then jarring them. But the slow burping really makes for a very smooth and tasty smoke. I'm still working on the perfect balance too
Left more fan leaves than I'm used to seeing. We're getting closer to harvesting our first couple of girls, and my research into drying and curing is a bit behind schedule at this point.
