Hydro Coco Quasi Hempy Grow

The garden is in full throttle mode now. I'm at full strength FloraNova, Bloombastic, and FloraNectar.
The ladies are also being gassed. I have the ring of gas tubing running thru eyebolts bolted into the walls of the cab. The tubing is right at cola level and in some cases a gas emmiter hole is only millimeters away from the plants.
Everything is getting very frosty too. The three test plants I gave Bloombastic to started showing better than the rest of the garden so the entire garden is on Bloombastic now instead of only half.

Sweet lords of bed, those girls are looking awesome! :headbang:

Bandit,
Thanks Bro you have been so helpful. I found the system for $217 brand new. I want to try the STG medium. Do you know if STG will work with the air-pots you like; what size would be appropriate for the Turbo. I will be ordering everything this week GOD willing. The girls are looking sexy talking about Budd Porn. Keep up the good work.

I used the Bloombastic on two plants in my just finished grow. They turned out to be the two plants with the strongest smoking bud. Would love to give it to my current batch but they were so over nuted at the beginning that i am hesitant to give them anything but water and sugar.

No problem Buddy! $217 is a great deal new! You'll find that it's a very sturdy and well built system that will last years and still hold good resale value if you ever choose to do so.
Something i do on the side to subsidize my grow room is buy and sell used gear and one thing I've learned is that Botanicare/American Agritech grow systems are very well made and hold excellent value.

I have no experience with the stg stuff. That's the cotton medium right?
The local shop here had it for a few months and then quit carrying it when the coco craze hit.
I think an old friend that used to hang here a lot, Stinkfinger, used it in an Ebb n Gro system and he had awesome results. His journal is somewhere in the completed section.
My Buddy uses the 7"x7"x7" square pots like what's in that video with great results. I recommend you get your feet wet using the pots that will come with your system to see if that's good enough for you. Then if you think airpots will improve your grow, make the move. I use the three liter air pots for veg and in my last journal I used modified 3 gallon airpots.
Thanks for the compliments and best of luck with your project! Feel free to ask any other future questions here, I'm glad to help if I can. ;)

Very interesting about the Bloombastic Two Tokes. I noticed an almost instant improvement over the plants that got it and those that did'nt. Those that did had more of everything...pistils, trichs, swelling etc.
I got the tiny 80ml bottle for free but I might buy a bottle. It's so freakin expensive but it replaces any and all other supplements and actually seems to be the real deal. I believe it won best new product at the cannabis cup a few years back. I'm sure that award tacks on a few dollars to it's price tag ;)

I'm working with a free bottle too. A little seems to go a long way. If it works good on the next plants i can give it to, i will probably buy some. Or try to weddle a sample out of a different hydro store. :)

lol That's a helluvan idea!!
That is one great thing about it is a little dab will do ya. I'm using 3ml per gallon and I've already gone thru half the bottle. It looks like i'll need about one 80ml bottle per grow which is about $30 but if it replaces two or three supplements it could be worth it. Have you seen the big silver jug that sells for almost $300? Crazy sticker shock on that one!! :loopy:

Re: Bandit420's Hydro Coco A GoGo

Thanks Bud!! How 'bout all these cats using airpots now OMM??!! I think we lit a match and now it's bon fire!! I also love how each grower is doing their own thing with these pots...Shows some real versatility of the airpot and ingenuity of the growers here at :420: :high-five:

Hey Bandit! :high-five:

Your so right! I love how flexible they are and can be used in many ways. 420 has some good minds, so they use em in all sorts of ways.

I posted a picture of one of your old cars over at Sisco's place.
Better look fast before it's gone. No offense! Just messing with you. OMM

Re: Bandit420's Hydro Coco A GoGo

I finally got my notm entries posted! Hopefully this Kush can bring home some freebie SNS goodies! Lots of great competition this month so idk...

I took about 20 shots of this nug and I think these two are the best I could come up with...

Ditto - in a house with a dog and two cats ;)

Re: Bandit420's Hydro Coco A GoGo

Thanks for the kind words everybody!
That nug is from the private reserve jar. It's been in cure since early November.
I took the shots outside to avoid using a flash and sure enough it picks up a hair in the shot :smokin2:
Tmac, here's another pipe shot, one of my faves...

Re: Bandit420's Hydro Coco A GoGo

This is one hell of a grow Bandit, you got it all here! Quality equipment, strains, and some beautiful glass. Oh yeah dumpster diving too:)

Sounds like the 203 is gonna work for you. I'm still battling the damn thrips and it seems like it's only slowing them down. I upped the dosage for the foliar spray and they're still hangin in there:smokin2:

:peace:

Hey 52 I hear ya on the thrips. Me and those little bastards have been bitter rivals for a while now.
My best defense against them is DoktorDoom bombs during the veg period. When the clones are in the turbogarden I bomb the room with two small cans and it seems to wipe them out but they will come back the next grow if I dont keep bombing the room during those veg periods.
I try to keep the garden pesticide free during bloom until this SNS 203 came along although it's not to be used on flowers or buds. I do the drench and spray around the lower canopy underside and medium surface.
It too is supposed to be a remedy against thrips so after seeing it wreak havoc on the gnat population I ordered a gallon jug from SNS so i have enough to knock out the gnats once and for all but also to handle any thrips that pop up in between bombings
I also use Jungle Rain Clean Leaf after the bombs and throughout the grow. It has some citrus extracts that dont harm the plant but make the plant not taste good for thrips and it keeps pores open on the leaves for the plant to feed better on co2 and for stomata stimulation ;)

Re: Bandit420's Hydro Coco A GoGo

sounds like you like the sns then
i was just curious what tds levels you are running

Thanks wohlichen!
I am feelin' groovy about the SNS 203 or anti aircraft artillery as I like to call it ;)
It's a little on the pricey side but most things that work really well are. I'm also feeling good about doing business with SNS. They're very professional. They ship out very fast from Central California and they send me tracking info to keep me updated on the shipment. Good product & good company. I cant ask for more....Except maybe some coupons or freebies ;)

I've got to the point to where I dont use a tds tester. My plants tell me what's up better than a meter. I had one for my last grow and I used it twice. Both times was just to answer this question from other growers like you. :) Back then it was at about 1400ppm so now if I had to guess I would say it's around 12-1600ppm
