Well today i found my glass artist!
Tommorow I'm taking the SSV to his shop for a custom water filter to attach to the whip. We'll go over some of the things I would like to see it have but for the most part I'm gonna let him do his own thing with his style.
This cat has a great eye and he's very meticulous. He really has a lot of pride in his work and it shows big time when I talk with him. I cant wait to see what he can come up with.
Here's the first piece he's made for me. He did an awesome job on this from the bow tie bubble, the4 coloring using a black metal flake, and to the horn. I also love the way it has no real definition, leaves a lot to the imagination....

We've got a few blowers poppin' up down here now. The connoiseur scene is big here and it's drawing some good artists to set up shop.
I wish the pics would do this piece justice. Seeing it live is mind blowing. The metal flake is really cool...:tokin:

Thanks Bro! I'm not too impressed with straight clear either unless the glass has all kinds of loops & twists.
I have my eye on another piece. The best way I can describe it is marbles clustered on a sea urchin. It does'nt even look like a pipe...more like a weird creature from the sea or outer space.

Looked back afew pages Bandit, That Tangerine Dream is suppose to be the @#$%.. I seen you have Sensie Star also. I did afew of them. Sorry to say I wasn't impressed. Beautiful plant and I know it's a major award winner, so maybe your's will be the one. I got a freebie on a deal for it. I'll put it this ways, I got like 6-8 jars of different weeds, and it's the fullest. That's some shit looking pipe. Love the colors. Just catching up alittle. Lazer Scissors? I think some people got alittle to much time on their hands? Jk Hey GL with the plants and Keep em Green

What's up NorCal!!
The tangerine gets me more and more interested as I read up on it. Most of these were freebies from a great friend. How often does a buddy give you a free oportunity to grow an award winner??!! Way too cool!!
Sensi Star is another freebie and I actually have grown her before. It's good imo but it can be so darn heavy. Leaves me too lazy but having a heavy pain killer/sleep aid like Sensi Star could come in handy ;)

The laser scissors are a great gag. Harbor Frieght sells this big multi pack of various size scissors and one of the pair has a laser. I thought that was the most hilarious thing when i saw that so I picked up a few packs.
I have a trim guy that helps me with harvests and I like to pull them out to mess with him when he leaves too much leaf on the buds.:tokin:

The last shot above is of maybe the best plant of the lot. This is about what I want to see in every plant i grow.
She's about 35" tall and maybe 18" wide. I love how she's pretty much all colas. Very few if any popcorn buds...Every bud is at least 6" long right now and her main cola is about 15"-20"

I'm also really liking the FloraNova & Bloombastic combo. It's working great with the coco and the plants seem to really like this blend. I'm gonna go ahead and stay with this plan so i ordered a 325ml bottle of Bloombastic the other day.

The fungus gnats are in full retreat. The SNS 203 makes them so miserable it's funny. I'm only seeing a few here and there where as before the treatments I was seeing dozens flying around.
The gallon jug of 203 reinforcements will be here today. I think by this time next week the garden will be 100% gnat free. I'm doing twice daily sprays...1 time as the lights come on and again when the lights go off.

This last shot is one i forgot to upload yesterday...
The fellas at the shop threw in a freebie nug jar when i picked up my pipe!

Well after almost a week of injecting co2 the handy dandy little monitor is telling me I'm not at the levels I need to be at. Right now my max ppm is 970 and I need it to get up in the 1500ppm range.
The online calculator on Hydrofarms website is calculating too low. The equation that came with the regulator is too wasteful. I found this thread here and I'll try the calculator in the link :high-five:

For the next few days I'll run injections at .2 cubic feet one hour on and one hour off during the lights on period and see where that gets me. The only problem with the calculation is that it does not say how often the injections should occur. Hopefully the garden does'nt drop too low during the hour of off times. If so I'll reduce the off time 15 minutes each day until the ppm is staying at about 1500ppm.
At this flow rate compared to the size of space I'm injecting the calculator is saying my tank will last 874 hours! If it runs for only 6 hours every day it will last 145 days. These are dream numbers for sure but hopefully I can get somewhere close to them. But even if the tank stays on for 11 hours a day it should still last 79 days and that's still really good. However if I cant fill the room with a slow & steady trickle I'll need to raise the flowmeter setting and that's when it will start going thru gas like crazy.
A good example is if I go up to .4 cubic feet of injection the tank will only last about 475 hours. Injecting for 11 hours a day at that rate will only last about 40 days.

I've also learned the my co2 monitor has an alarm relay and a RS232 pc interface.
The alarm relay is interesting because with the proper cable I can plug in a device such as a fresh air injection blower to kick on if co2 levels get too high or low.
The RS232 interface is really cool and will help me get this dialed in perfect but it could also give me data telling me what times the co2 is being used the most. That kind of info could be really helpful if I need to extend or reduce the injection times at various times during lights on.
So in the end I could be doing injections of one hour on, one hour off but in the middle of lights on I might need to inject for two hours or something like that.
I just need to find a RS232 cable which is ez but finding the right software to collect the data might be a pain and hopefully it wont be expensive. I doubt the dumpster will have those goodies ;)
