just passing thru, thanks for the info on the ph up and down...have some but scared of it...everyone says it is really radical and to just use a drop...any ideas, is it really that scarry? also, silly question, but how do i use that adjustment ck, the 4 and 7? it is 7 i think....have all the instruments but when the directions said to calibrate, i just put them back in the box and there they sit...never used...have an aeroponics system, and large auto cloner, out in garage, never touched...scared to death of them...it all started sounding to technical, and dirt was familiar...so i just do dirt...chicken i guess...thanks for all the help you all....hugs, lavendar
High Lavendar, the bar is always open for you, and we don't have to drink in the crawl space
The pH pen is easy as pie. I just put some pH 7 buffering solution in a shot glass ( it's okay, it looks like toilet bowl cleaner, so you shouldn't be tempted to drink it!), turn on the pen, and stick it in. When the readings settle down, use the little screw driver to adjust the reading to 7. Let it sit a bit, and readjust if you need to.
After your finished, turn it off, and rinse it with some tap water. Distilled or RO'd water will screw up the glass sensor. I just keep it in the shot glass, and top off the solution as it evaporates.
Can't help you with the aeroponics or auto cloner.
Thanks for dropping in
I meant to ask you if you've ever grown Pure Power Plant, and what were you're experiences???
