Hempy Headquarters

I’ve been using 2ml per gallon in hempy for over a year now with no difficulty. I believe that’s twice the recommendation on their bottle.

Whatever amount you work with it’s every gallon used, no exceptions. Lol! Just about all of us made the mistake in the beginning of not using enough.

There are no silly stoner thoughts my friend. Just thoughts that are silly when you look at them next time you're straight.

DDA has been crying around a bit. I dug around and found some cal-mag. I did 2.5mls per gallon because that is what maxibloom says it requires and hope to see some results tomorrow.

I see Osmocote+ in my future. Feels like I am going to have to fiddle with my maxibloom more than I wanted to.when switching strains. Seems almost like work...........

But you’ll choose to let it feel joyful and curious and exploring.....

Get the picture? Lol!

Tead rocks the Osmo +. Maybe I’ll be able to do the same in that environment. I rock these RX Technologies and gee whiz, does that MegaCrop do a fine job! I’m looking forward to watching the Red Diesel bloom with MegaCrop. She looked fine going into the tent today.

Your DDA’ll be fine. They’re hearty plants. That’s why we keep growing them. Lol!

Their leaves have more of a yellow tone sometimes. The breeding of Devil’s Carnival carried that genetic trait from the DDA mother to extreme. Those leaves are the lightest I grow, and with DC it’s a sign of health.

While not directly toxic, excessive Ca will compete with other cations, such as P, K, and Fe for plant uptake.

Sue is apparently having no issues, but for most, it would be prudent to check your water report before going too far above recommended dosing.

Hey, GGuru, where did you find this info? Is it on the bag? I use maxigrow and bloom and have always started with 1ml/l of calimagic and increased as needed. I have had some deficiencies tho and am going to kick myself if this little tidbit has been in front of my stoner face this whole time. Lol. I do know that in early to mid-flower i have to go up to 5ml/l with some strains. Im guessing because of the combo of leds and perlite... Some strains sure are little Ca/Mg piggies tho.

I googled maxibloom feed schedule. They have a pdf

I bet that smoke is going to be smoooov. Lol. I never flushed my Hempy that long. 5 days max. Wife just asked me why I'm not flushing that long.
Great looking buds :yummy:

It took about 5-7 days till I seen the fade begin. It progress pretty fast once it started. The plant was fairly green until than and I figured I go with a couple more water only feedings and that will clear out the synthetics. I rather over ripen than have the bud smoke harsh. I have another clone that was topped and it's still in flushing, it was really green and had more branches and leaves. I get a pic of that one up when it get the axe.

I phase my nutes down once they stop feeding so heavy. Then my wife looks at the buds and tells me to either let it go or start flushing. At about day five of flush I usually have a decent fade and she smokes smooth, not faded like yours though.
I am definitely inspired to flush longer.

This summer I dedicated my small 2x2 tent for breeding. I am a realist and let's face it, buying seeds on a very tight budget is nearly impossible. I have several friends locally who also enjoy growing and apparently have the money to burn on seeds. I did a little trading with a couple of them to acquire some breeding stock. This is what I have been working with this summer. I had two Northern Light IBL regular seeds, 2 Girl Scout Cookies Thin Mint regular seeds, 1 Hawaiian Kailua Pua regular seed, 1 Green Crack fem seed, and a cutting from a Sensi Seeds Northern Light plant. I have read a bit about the Northern Lights strain and how it is a fantastic strain to use making crosses/hybrids. I was very pleased that I got a boy and a girl with the two NL IBL seeds. The female NL IBL plant was/is beautiful. So I dusted her pretty heavily with pollen from her brother. I have been checking the plant daily looking for calyxes that have busted open so that I might harvest the seeds at what I feel is in their prime.

Another gem is the Hawaiian Kailua Pua plant. It has a sort of stale cheese/sweaty tennis sneaker aroma now but that may change in the next 4 weeks. This plant was also dusted with the NL IBL pollen. I've been collecting seeds from her for about a week now.

My Green Crack plant I pollinated only a couple buds. Same with the Thin Mint plant. These plants were harvested during the last week. Approximately 30 seeds so far have been recovered from each plant.

The Sensi Seed NL plant I started spraying with colloidal silver about a week prior to flowering. It is currently in my 2x2 tent with a clone of the NL IBL plant. The Sensi Seed Norther Light plant has a good number of male pollen sacks on the branch I brushed the spray on. I will leave these two in the tent and whatever happens happens. The result (if pollination occurs) will be a cross of the Sensi NL and the NL IBL fem seeds as well as S1 (I guess) Sensi NL fem seeds.

I am most anxious to see the results of the NL IBL X Hawaiian Kailua Pua cross.

Is that 100% perlite?

A little bit of vermiculite seems to go a long way in terms of adding moisture-holding ability to one's medium.
