Hempy Headquarters

Not having to pH and ending up with plants like this will keep me using the expensive nutrients.

I love the RX Green. My hempies seem to love it too. I use water right from the hose without any ph adjustment. I supplement with GH calimag and GH armour Si (because my heat and humidity fluctuates a lot). Except for a bit of cal/mag deficiency I haven't had issues yet ::knockonwood::

After seeing Tead's amazing osmo+ results for the last year or so, I gave in and bought some but have yet to try it. I think I will wait until spring and do auto flowers on the balcony with it.

Autos, of course! I can play with autos in solo cup hempies on the balcony this year. :slide: Oh, you wonderfully inspirational man! :kisstwo: I can play with a few Osmo cups too, see if I can get the hang of it in absurdly small containers.

Thanks, I hadn't thought of doing them in such small containers, but that would actually work great for me too. Maybe 32oz instead of 16 though else I'd have to water three times a day with how dry it is here.

Oh, I hadn't thought of the 32 oz size Doob. :laughtwo: You may have saved my plants. Lol! I'm heading out after lunch to find some. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Ya know... we all like to ignore the ugliness. Bonus points for speaking of it.

This is my second time in four years growing ugliness due to PH issues. This time, I adjusted in weeks instead of months. :)

Cold blooded cut-throat behavior.... keep an eye on that wicked one... they're goin somewhere.

I assume barter was involved.... what did it cost?

Cash monies were involved .. 50% over prevailing market rates in the outside world.

In this case it was the sensitive one playing badass - Karma handed out a smackdown

Transplanted my osmo+ perlite hempy today from a solo cup hempy . Cant wait for it to take off.

I was worried that the family might be upset at the forced "tolerance break" so I doled out the rations from my latest Carnival harvest and said "Make it last 2 months." One family member promptly took 1/4 their ration and sold it to another family member at inflated prices.

Radogast ... just freaking hilarious!
Thanks for the laugh

Peace
Keith

Hey @SweetSue and @Tead, I cant remember if it was included in the thread, but what PH were you running the Osmo hempys at? Ive been using 6, but im seeing most of the osmo hempy PH's swinging downward- some pretty low. I think the PH swings are due to some out of control algae though..

I think of it as standard hydro and PH my mix to 5.5 - 5.7 before feeding.
I've seen many people chase the PH of the outflow over the years. Nothing but madness seems to lie there. I advise most folks not to bother with it.

I've found myself chasing the outflow lately then I guess! I had been PH'ing to 6, but had seen one osmo hempy swing to 5.4, and others swing up to 6.15 or 6.25. Ive been battling a couple deficiencies such as phosphorous, I believe in one that I intended on using as a "mother". I'm afraid to try the 5.5 - 5.7, but you're probably right. Thanks, Tead.

Site looks a lot nicer now also!

Thanks to the new forums I was finally able to start a grow journal!

Hopefully it makes sense. Lol

Here is a pic of the current girl, Fast Buds Pineapple Express Auto at six and a half weeks. She’s in a 3gal bucket:

Way to go BigBear. If we still had a high-five emoticon it would have been right here. Lol! She looks hearty.

Greetings Hempites!
I am still catching up on this thread (only on page 20 atm), but have a question for the Osmo+ users. The analysis on their website shows some Mg, but no Ca. Are you supplementing with a separate source of Ca? I understand that especially under LED, cannabis typically use lots of Ca.

Just wanted to share this beautiful unknown strain from bag seed that I’m flowering.
Finally have the tent on track too...

Oops, first photo should have been..
