What's up with this photo? Why is the algae line 1/2 way thru the pot? That always happens at the top... not 1/2 way down. Seems pretty brownish too.

Looks like maybe more perlite was added after the initial potting.

Grown outdoors - deep light penetration into the perlite? + dry in the top half?
That's odd. Iget green in the top 1/4" when I leave it sit in moisture, not deep down ike that.

hi guys just had a question about one of my hempy girls she is starting to yellow out on me im using the advanced nutes ph perfect with her is it maybe to low of nutes like should i up the strength or maybe lower it i figured with the burn she had going on it was maybe to much so i started to lower the amount but now she is starting to look weird with the leaves going lighter and what not so what do u guys think oh and she is still in veg if that helps
What are your feed levels at?? Flower or veg? Veg 5 to 600 ppm is what I use and 6 to 800 ppm in veg

Well i dnt have a ppm meter or nuthn and since I'm using the ph perfect i havnt been touching the the ph at all but im now using 1.4 ml of the micro, and 1.2 of the grow, and bloom but I was using 1.7 of micro and 1.6 of grow and bloom but seen the burning so I stopped upping the amount then the yellowing started so I started to back it down so idk what the problem is lol
Per gallon of water I use 10 ml of grow 8 ml of micro 10 ml of bloom, in STRETCH, as a base to start. Then as soon as they go FULL FLOWER 8 ml grow 8ml micro and 12 bloom.
I used sensi grow for coco in veg. So idk about that.

Herb is correct. I topped the original perlite after it settled. I actual lifted her some to get more under her too. She took all that abuse without blinking.
Have you tried since the upgrade Herb? Top right on the menu line, choose "420 Entertainment" then go to galleries. At the top of that page, above the gallery listings, there's an option to load photos.
How much Cal/mg are you using? It looks like your lights are stronger than you anticipated?

Yea i had a problem with a cheapo cob light fried my girls way to potent lmao so im guna keep her on the back burner till i get my veg area built and setup then I will be able 2 hang lights higher so my 1200w cob light maybe won't fry my girls then lol but as for cal-mag when I called there hotline number the guy on there said i wouldn't need any. What hotline guy told you that? Admittidly, I've never had this difficulty with COBs, so he may be right, but that looks like what I see when the cal/mg levels are off in my hempies. It's typically a concern under the blurple LEDs. I do have the problem under my quantum boards when they're turned up too high. It's asking the plant to process more energy than it can without assistance, or at least that's the way I look at it. Any of your other plants looking testy?
It may be that hempy needs the cal/mg. Soil does a different job of processing things.

A few of my other girls look alil bit like it but they also were close to the cob light and as for the hotline it was the number to call for assistance on the side of advanced nutrients bottles but yea all my other hempy girls are doing fine tho so idk.

Do you have Cal/Mg? I'd try a bit to see if it worked before she looses all her green.
I've gotten away without calmag some with the Osmo, but Tead's never seen a traditionally fed hempy that didn't need calmag.

I think the Mrs. drinks 1%.... but I suspect it doesn't matter. Butterfat content is not the concern here... we want it for the calcium.

It can stank after a while. Straight up sour milk action. Mostly disgusting. The plants seem to don't seem to mind the sour milk.

i was just about to ask sum1 on here what could be used as a replacement for cal/mag since i only got one feeding to my girls with the cal-mag in it and oh boy did they love it lol started going super green over night lol but yea now im out till next payday so would u suggest i use the milk and epsom salt for one or two feedings till i can order some cal-mag?? also was that amount per gallon or per liter?? thank you all for all the help
