Hempy Headquarters

@FelipeBlu, with your love of number crunching, have you noticed whether Buck’s methods are producing appreciably more than big plants that take up more footprints? Every time I watch him pull this off I sit back and wonder why I’d go with bigger growing containers. I watched Ziggy do the same thing with a combo of Doc’s kit and SWICK trays. There are great advantages to smaller pots.

I haven’t researched this yet, but it sounds like a great project. I’m currently very interested in quadlining - seems like an excellent method for maximizing yield in a smaller plant.

uuhhhh......

would suggest go a bit bigger pot than 2L. my hempys look great but the 5L pot option may have been a better choice for ultimate yield. on the fence about up pot at this point. you lose about 2wks veg time in training in my experience so far. the roots are definitely ahead of the plant size.

quadding in hempy is a bit of an adventure. the media is a bit loose for it. training wasn't as straight forward as i initially thought. am going to try a different approach to the early training when i give it a shot next. once you can anchor to an edge it's all straight forward.

i am going to quadline this,, soon as i figure out how,, :hmmmm:

gotta brush up on my algebra,, ha

ha,, this is a 'cheese' plant,, in my tent inside now,, this now is the biggest plant i have grown,, and just starting to stretch,,

again,,

good sunday friends

Im thinking about stopping my use of RO water. My tap is about 114ppms which isnt bad. My question is: my township uses chloramine in their treatment plant. Should i get an aquarium treatment to get rid of it or just rock out as is?

I wouldn’t worry about it for hempy. It’s an issue for growers in LOS.

@bluter, they always fall into line for you. :hugs:

Ahhhh...... guys, you have no idea how wonderful it is to stroll through your hempy kingdoms. :hugs:

@Buck5050, we grow them for the oil, and it appears you’ve mastered that part of it. MegaCrop has done well by your hand. :high-five: Tomahawk is amazing!

:battingeyelashes: When I read fine-tuning particulars like this it makes my heart skip a beat:

I’ve been busy jumpstarting a writing career guys, so it warms my heart to see you all keeping this passion of mine alive and thriving. Today I’ll be starting to write a blog on hempy for another project, and I was wondering why you initially chose hempy, and why you now choose to stay with the method?

I chose it to grow smaller plants, thinking I’d be able to drop them into open spaces in my tent, and possibly get up to six plants into a 27” x 27” tent. Lol! The irony was that everything I grew hempy blew up into big plants. All the while I kept thinking about exactly what Buck is doing with such beauty and style. :thumb:
I chose the hempy method as it allowed me to dip into the hydroponic side of growing with soil growing methods and practices.

I chose hempy because I wanted to grow hydro, and the freedom from daily watering that the 2” reservoir provides appealed to me. I now stay with it because it is so easy and versatile. I have done flood & drain, and drip system hempys.

Thank you for your input gentlemen. :hugs:

i like the pretty green and white in hempy

I adore your sense of humor and wit Buck. :laughtwo:
