The only real issue with colder temp solution, that I’m aware of, is a decrease in phosphorus uptake, so keep an eye on the possibility of P def.
If I remember correctly, low temperatures can cause magnesium-related issues, too.

Yes. I use one 16oz solo cup of nutes down the tube every other day.Oh guys...... be still my beating heart.
Buck, do you water every 48 hours throughout the grow? You’re making MegaCrop look like a great choice. Impressive yields too. I’d think the tubes’d be easier to manage. I thoroughly enjoyed the smaller pots when I ran them.
This past run I have been watering one tube every 24 hours to check results. I will have dry weight info on that in a couple weeks. But, by my eye it looks heavier than the other 2 identical clones getting fed every 48 ...
So if it’s the same amount of nutes and water, and the plant that’s watered twice as often is bigger, then that’s only going to reinforce the idea that it’s the more frequent introduction of fresh air (and flushing of old air), that is responsible for the difference.
I can just imagine the air being sucked in as the 8 oz of solution tumbles and rushes through the perlite and roots in a 8-inch diameter tube.
Don’t get me wrong - I love the hempy reservoir. But just as those who are growing in coco (and are sometimes fertigating twice a day) - I have experienced a higher growth rate fertigating daily, than when I was fertigating less often - like waiting 2-3 days for the reservoir to be emptied.
I’m really feeling like it’s the fresh air.
It sure looks that way.I believe Brix was watering my monster Carnival every day at the end.
But does that increased growth translate to increased bud weight?
I for one didn't start using the hempy grow style to be watering everyday. I use it because it's fairly simple.
Yes. By design.Sweet clubs Buck!
Are you generally getting one big cola per tube?
Not all. But, I do remove the bottom branches come week 3 and remove all larf sites.I probably missed this - are you trimming off all other stems to concentrate the plant’s energy on the main apical?
I try and remove any branches 6 inches up from the top of tube (allows for easy watering access), than a few bud sites an inch or two up from that point. Some phenos do get some side branching out and look like mini Christmas trees. Most of the time it's a single "spear" bud that I try and shoot for. I do go hands off after the week 3s trim and leaf strip until about week 6 where I do a light defoliation. Some goals I keep in mind: No larf . Quality before quantity.Fill the jars with smooth clean smoke.Like remove the stems from nodes 1-4?

This was just my first observation using the pure perlite as a medium. I for one didn't start using the hempy grow style to be watering everyday. I use it because it's fairly simple. This information will help me set up an automatic watering system which will make growing even simpler.
When I run hempy I water about every 3rd day, sometime every 2nd day
Yes...easy is goodererer
