Heavens Shores - Bill's 2022 Grow: Come Meet Howie! Show Us Your Grow Too - Bring A Pic

Ha - did I miss you saying this? Just seemed to make sense. Re: heating. You’re onviously already on it.

I’ve read maybe 40 pages so far. Beginning the. jumped to page 100 then working backwards. 101 soil make up was the main pictorial I saw so far. Yep awesome stuff. Def deserve their own posts. My comm. grower mate has a similar natural thermal build design as yours - albeit for warm weather. Will try send you a diagram I drew.

Thanks massively to the #ogmastergrower

(Don’t blush!)

Thank Bill, and everybody that contributed. Great reading!
Good morning Foss :ciao:
I'm glad you enjoyed our little collaboration so far.
Still a bit of work left before we wrap up.
I'm so busy with the new room I've fallen behind here a bit.
Have a great day my friend.
Thank you for dropping in.:high-five:
Take care.

Holy Crap, my friend Bill! You're a freakin' engineer to boot!:yahoo:

Glad that all is well over there. Keep warm and keep safe!

Cheers!
Thanks Scott but it's mostly just insulating I'm concerned with.
The better I do the less it will cost to heat/cool.
It's time for drywall then I'll be close.
Wasn't planning on drywall but metal panels are too expensive.
And it's fireproof. :thumb:
Mind you Joe mentioned scratch & dent garage door panels.
So I'm checking on them today.
Thanks for dropping in Scott.
Talk soon.

So after your freeze and shake, you use that to hot-roll hash or for other purposes?

My last harvest was a 10-12 week flower. Topped after 10 but still a little loose to my liking. Did a quick trim before grove-bagging them. Making sure, as Bill suggested, to cure them between 65-75% RH. Trimmed and bagged most of them just over 70 for a slow cure.... First time curing, I was totally ignorant before I joined @420 . :thanks:

Cheers!
Yeah gets turned into hash.. although I might be interested in a heated press in the future.. as I don't want to smoke anymore, vaping the hash still leaves residue if I can turn it into pure resin so it disappears when I put it to the bong that would be great.

Yeah curing is what unlocks the taste and stabilises the bud otherwise it's all over the place.

hmmm Bill?? a 10' room.. now that sounds interesting.. I dreamt I covered a big geodesic dome tent with leds on the inside allround lightening full exposure :p.. as yes some plants easily grow that size outside.. but you want that size with the flowering capabilities of inside unless you of course live in Cannaperfect climate.. those regions do exist.
As with the summers of the past decade, the plants easily grow huge here now, but yeah harvest period is still way too shady even as sunny & warm as it was this year as frick it's half November and the weather is still very mild, but humidity gets way too high.

8 pounds, but would have been more.
Mites and wet fall reduced her pull.

That's a tiny sunflower 😆

That was a big plant
It got hit by mites and the fall was cold and damp.
I was hoping for a pound per foot.
But that was a lot to ask from her.
She did me proud. ;)
Hope everything is going well my friend. :high-five:

You did very well with that one Bill, awesome effort!

You did very well with that one Bill, awesome effort!
Im going to do less plants and a bit bigger, better training.
I trained that one for months..
I'm already excited about next years greenhouse. :woohoo:
Better ventilation and heat.
More light, hehe.
Hope everything is growing well for you my friend.
Nice of you to drop in.
Take care.

More light, hehe.
Hi Bill. Hope all is groovy.
Light is good. My neighboor just gave me a bud of "Angel" something. Tightest outdoors buds ever. His got sun throughout the day.
Oddly enough... Just promix and water and a sunny summer and his yield was awesome considerring he did sweet-fk-all. Too bad he didn't cure it, just let it dry, so even after smoking some, hard to say just how good it could have been.
The sun-light from morn to night is powerfull.
Hydro Quebec supplies alot of power. Are you on our grid over there?

Cheers!

heya friend,, how do you do Bill?

been days my friend,, many,,

there was a time, mere days, no, weeks,, nope,, days for sure,, when i had near continuous cannabis content to consistently converse coherently.

alas,, those days have passed,, like gas

me indoor room is getting ramped back up now and i do have several 'critical PURPLE kush' going so i can supply some purp content to your purp thread shortly perhaps.

interesting note i spose,, i am harvesting a critical.purple.kush, that i reveged,, the plant was cloned in may of 2021,, finally meeting it's waterloo,, it has many eight month old calyx's on it still,, huge,, like corn kernel size

peace out friend,,

He must be pulling your leg.
Promix has a line of actual soil.
But it could never sustain a plant for 3 months.
Was it in a pot?
Or did he have a hole in the ground full of it?
In the ground might work.
Sun and led light was a great combo in the greenhouse.
Our summers aren't exactly the sunniest so the led supplement was vital.
Next year more light spread out better.
I had 1100 watts at one end and 300 at the other.
Poor planning but a last minute fix.;)
We will see who wants to sponsor it and what they have. :thumb:
We are with Ontario Hydro here.
Rates aren't horrendous but not cheap either.
I'm thinking solar down the rd a bit.
We don't get much sun so it may be pointless.
Hopefully they get more efficient in the coming years.
I've other projects more pressing.
Like the dam boiler.
They hooked it up wrong.
I have to switch it on and off to get hot water.
Otherwise it just runs forever, fek.
And the grow room needs finished asap.
Lots to do before we think about solar.
Hope everything is going well my friend.
Nice of you to drop in.

Morning bill sounds like you have a shit load on and will do for some time lol. Ye doing good the girls seem to be having a little last stretch they're now 17 inch away from the light with at least 18 tops on each with no issues so fingers crossed we can keep on plodding along.
