Heavenly Hybrid’s Hideout: Jump In Anytime

Hi again lovely grow buds. I’m happy to report that they are looking better now!

Blackberry Kush

I plucked and tucked some leaves for her. She is a leafy one. Good quad shape.

OG Kush

Shes the oldest of the group and if it was just her, I’d be flipping right now. Not such a good quad shape.

Mango Kush

The youngest and littlest of the bunch. She has been a dream to grow. No problems, no fussiness, no drooping. Once she gets just a little bigger, it’ll be flip time.

Critical Purple Kush

This girl is settling back down again. She is a darker green than the rest, so I’m considering giving her a bit of a rinse and feed before flip. She’s also the one with the leaf curl from a probable N tox. Decent enough quad shape.

Its pretty great when I rustle the leaves and get a whiff of these sweet berry kush smells. Blackberry and cpk especially, sweet like pixie sticks! Yum

I just need to finish getting the area for the candida mom ready and then it’ll be flip time real soon after!

Thanks for sticking with me and giving your support! I hope all is well and you’re staying safe out there! :ciao:

Good looking bunch there, HH...
All in great shape for the upcoming flip!

Happy belated Mother's day, HH-
Hope it was a great one!

Hi everyone! It’s been a little while since I updated this journal and I have some show and tell today!

First up, I moved a couple of the girls around and trimmed down the Candida mom.

They’re okayish, but these girls are not happy enough for me to feel comfortable to flip to blooming. I’m kinda done with megacrop at the moment, ever since they changed the formula, I’m not much of a fan. So I changed up the nutes and I’m back on general organics. These are the nutes I used when I first started growing, I’m pretty familiar with them and they kept the plants happy from seed to harvest, when I used them before. The down side is it’s a 3 bottle system and I’ll have to ph again, but I’m out of patience trying to figure out how to keep them all happy with mc and two types of promix right now. We’ll see how this goes.

After one feeding with the new nutes.

This is the best lift her leaves have had for a little while.

still a bit raggedy, but happy enough.

with some Candida clones hiding in the corner - VG’s perlite cloning method at work. Blackberry is looking nice and perky.

Still keeping it strong. She’s been the happiest girl the whole time. She’s caught up to blackberry kush in size, so I’m not upset at that!!

Hopefully the nute change will keep these girls on the right path, because I’m ready to flip right about now.

I hope all is well with you and you’re staying safe out there! :ciao:

And in the supp-up (supplementary update), I’ve been busy getting the third tent (3x3) set up and running again!

It started out like this

Just before the dirt, they looked like this

Get in the dirt this time girls!

now this kind of 3/3 action is more like it! Good ol 3x3, always has my back.

Right now the light is turned down pretty low. Once these spouts get a little bigger, I’ll turn the light power up and bring in the Candida mom. Then I can flip the 4x4!

That’s the big reveal, dear reader. I’ve been working behind the scenes, and you had no idea this whole time! :cheesygrinsmiley: I’m so sneaky sneaks.

Lol, keep safe lovies!

Looks like the new/old nutes are already working their magic on the big girls!
And congrats on getting all 3 seeds into the dirt....I can tell by their little smiles that they like it in there ;)

Oh my. There is so much yum in your update and sup-update! First, they all look gorgeous. But, that blackberry has had my attention from the beginning. They didn’t seem to skip a beat with the change in nutes!:high-five: I was actually just planning “what’s next” in the Atreum tent and I’ve got a Dope Seeds auto amnesia I was thinking of….Gonna watch from afar for now. :cheesygrinsmiley:

:cheer: for the new sneaky sneaks babies!

The big ones look like they're getting close to flip time if only because of the space issues (for a change). On the plus side, it will look stupendously crowded come flower time!

I’ll have to ph again,
How so? There's nothing magical about MC and pH no matter what's spread in other corners of this site. It's the ProMix that is handling pH for you, so you don't have to.
VG’s perlite cloning method at work
Damn I forgot to do that with some of my cuttings! :grrrr: Maybe I'll grab a few more this weekend...

There's always something going on behind the scenes!

Hi all! In typical new mom I’ve got more baby pics to post! :D

I’ve been a bit more aggressive about turning the lights power up. I wonder if that’s part of the deal in my other auto tent, maybe I was too cautious? Maybe humidity was too low? Hard to know with these tricky little autos.

I didn’t grab any new pics of the big girls, but they are plugging along. I added boxes to the two shorties and now it’s nice and even (except that dang OG). They did get droopy last night, but they are looking good again this morning. I’ll probably give them one more feeding with the new nutes and then flip. That’s the plan for now anyway!

I hope all is well with you and your gardens are green.

I ended up going back in and thinning down the leaves a bit. Particularly that blackberry kush - she is leafy af.

And I got pics!

Lol, Mr H looked in on them last night and said “wow, they’re so square” I was like - yeeeeah, that’s the beauty of the quad ;)! So close on that even canopy, stupid OG!

@Grand Daddy Black, I guess you were right about me, I am about that flat canopy. After I got the plants leveled out with some risers, I was feeling super bothered/impulsive looking at OG’s 4 towers. If her stems weren’t so hardened, she would be supercropped right now. I’m thinking about it now, just to make a solid decision, but I have a feeling it will keep bothering me. The stems are real tough though, I may have to bring in some needle nose pliers or something?

Supercrop? Grab the needle nose and a wash cloth for cushioning and have at it!
For what it's worth. This year for supercropping I got fed up with doing it by fingers as sometimes a stem is too woody, and I did just as Shed is suggesting using pliers. I put a bit of electrical tape around the jaws of some needle nosed pliers and used them to supercrop, it works fine, I used it to keep my outdoor girls to their 2 foot tall limit.

Or instead of pliers, you could just sit on it! :Rasta:
