Heavenly Hybrid’s Hideout: Jump In Anytime

Nice clean up and healthy happy babies. :happy-birthday:

Supercrop? Grab the needle nose and a wash cloth for cushioning and have at it!
Haha, I saw the tutorial link on your thread! I wondered if I might have had a hand in the inspiration there? Well, I already did it and tied them down. Pics coming as soon as they turn their lil heads up!
For what it's worth. This year for supercropping I got fed up with doing it by fingers as sometimes a stem is too woody, and I did just as Shed is suggesting using pliers. I put a bit of electrical tape around the jaws of some needle nosed pliers and used them to supercrop, it works fine, I used it to keep my outdoor girls to their 2 foot tall limit.
That was exactly the case with these, they were so woody! I didn’t use anything to cushion the pliers, hopefully that doesn’t come back to bite me. But they seemed fine to my eye in the moment. Ahhh, nice and flattish canopy. :meditate:

It obviously noticed that it was starting to bounce back up. Pigeons are helpful like that. :cheesygrinsmiley:
Hmmm... up till now I was seeing the pigeon as one of the bad guys, but you're suggesting that they actually function as canopy adjusters, flying around the neighbourhood looking for less than flat canopies to adjust for their human friends. That sounds great Shed and I now want to vape some of what you are using!

Nice work on the new additions, HH. Some good sounding strains you have going there.

Or instead of pliers, you could just sit on it! :Rasta:
Still waiting on the tutorial on this training technique, GDB. :reading420magazine:

Lmao!! You guys crack me up!!! :laughtwo::laughtwo::laughtwo::laughtwo::laughtwo:

I had to Google that one Shed!

When it comes to canopies, I appreciate a good flattie.

Hey all! I’ve been around a little less than usual lately, just having a rough bump, but all is well.

Just after my last update, I decided that it was flip day. I was waiting for them to respond to the new nutes to flip. It was hard for me to know what was old damage or if they were doing better. But once some new growth had a chance to start coming in, I could see the difference and so it was time!

So we are 6 days into blooming now.

Everyone is pretty happy with the exception of CPK, who has very curled growth on top.

She has been unhappy for a while with this leaf curl. I raised the lights up a bit in case it’s too intense, but they’re only running at about 65% power right now. No one else is complaining, so I just don’t know.

We’ve got some budlet beginnings happening! :cheesygrinsmiley:

Now for the tricky part, transitioning the nutes! I nearly forgot I need to switch to the blooming set, it’s been so long of working with MC. :laughtwo: They were just fed yesterday, so for tomorrow’s feed, I will do half and half of the veg and blooming nutes.

We’re finally on our way to buddage! I am really glad the girls took to the new nutrients quickly, I did not have much more room to spare. Particularly OG kush, she started taking off and then it was definitely time!

Hope all is well with you all. Sending lots of loves!

Congrats on the first signs of pistils! Sorry to hear about your rough bump though. I just ordered 100 grit sandpaper off Amazon because I can't be bothered to go back to Home Depot again, so I can send you a few spare sheets if that will help. :high-five:

Weird tops on that CPK, and if it is the light, you can hang a bit of window screening under that corner of the light to cut it. That way the other plants get what they crave (electrolytes duh!) and protect the tops of the sensitive one.

And I think GDB may have you beat in terms of crowded this time. :)

I'm glad all is well now HH, the plants are looking lush!

Beautiful canopy in there, HH!

It's a bit odd, what that CPK is doing... @VetSmoke85 has a similar situation with his
Orange Sherbert plant here ...it was doing just fine, then the top got "curly" for no apparent reason...

She's been a weirdo from the off pretty much.

I think it’s due to the light too. I don’t have any screen Shed, but maybe I’ll pick some up? The other option would be to raise all the others, not sure if I want to wrangle all that. Maybe when I pull them out after day 21 blooming? I dunno, maybe she’ll just have to deal with it? ;)

I realized it’s been a little bit since I show and telled the newest set of autos, so I grabbed some pics to share.

Here they are on day 11:
